Math:   Students went over one more example for the birth announcement.  We then jumped into Module 1, Lesson 1.  Each class worked through as many problems as they could on page S.3.  Complete the problems we didn't get done in class.  The Birth Announcement is due Thursday, August 29th at the beginning of class.

Science: Students learned how to evaluate evidence and have a scientific argument. No homework.  

English: Students read a story about teeth. We did an activity on text-evidence in class. Students need to send an email to me displaying correct etiquette by Wednesday, 8/28. There are instructions on google classroom. Students have an expectations contract and a movie parent permission form that needs to be signed and returned by today. AR is due October 15th.

Geography:  Students started on a new unit called Continents and Oceans. Students took notes. No homework! Test over Continents and Oceans will be Friday.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
