Math:   Students took a practice Grande Soft Taco Multiplication Fact quiz and then dropped toothpicks, over and over, in honor of Pi Day (which is officially tomorrow). 

Pre-Algebra:   Students took a practice Grande Soft Taco Multiplication Fact quiz and then dropped toothpicks, over and over, in honor of Pi Day (which is officially tomorrow). 

Science:  Students completed lesson 2.4, which taught them how to affect the death rate of a population by adjusting the population number of another organism in its food web.  No homework.


English:  Students worked on their collaboration poems. These are due on Monday.

7th Period English: Students worked on their collaboration poems. These are due on Monday. "W" is due today.



Geography:  Today we continued our Wonders of the World video project. Information can be found on Google Classroom. The video project is due on Friday, March 13th by 4:00 pm.  See Mrs. Kuhn if you were gone.

Math:   Students worked on some review IXLs found in the 6th grade section.  Do the 8 that were "gold starred" top at least a score of 75. 

Pre-Algebra:   Students worked on some review IXLs found in the 6th grade section.  Do the 8 that were "gold starred" top at least a score of 85.

Science:  Students performed another lab to study yeast and cellular respiration. The lab report will be due by Friday 4:00 pm and a little more class time will be given to complete it. Feel free to work on it outside of class though.  See Mrs. Eidem if you were gone

Math:   Students learned about the Grande Soft Taco and took a practice one.  We went over the test from last week and some classes began a Geometry Packet.  Some classes might have a little homework. 

Pre-Algebra:   Students worked on their survey project.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students performed another lab to study yeast and cellular respiration. The lab report will be due by Friday 4:00 pm and a little more class time will be given to complete it. Feel free to work on it outside of class though.

Science:  Students completed lesson 2.2 in our Populations and Resources unit, and performed a lab to study energy storage molecules (food) & yeast. No homework.

English:  Students worked on their partner paint chip poems.

Math:   Students went over lesson 17 homework and watched a video over circumference and area of circles.  No homework.  We will have an assessment over lessons 16, 17 and 18 on Tuesday, March 10th.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students had an assessment over lessons 1 - 7.  No homework.

Science:  Students completed lesson 2.1 in our Populations and Resources unit, and read an article about either penguins, salmon, fireflies, or seals and learned about energy storage molecules and reproduction. No homework.

English:  Students worked on their personification poems. Poems are due on Monday.

Geography:  Today we took the South America Test (4th quarter grade). Students had some time at the end of class to finish up their South American Trip (4th quarter grade). Up next is the Wonders of the World! :)

Math:   Students went over lesson 16 homework and moved into Lesson 17.  For homework, find the area of the circles on the worksheet and problems 1-4 and 6 on page 117.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 5 and moved into lesson 6.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students completed lesson 1.4 in our Populations and Resources unit, and modeled how a population stays the same (births = deaths) & how a population increases (births > deaths). No homework.

English:  Students worked on their blackout poems.

7th Period English: Students worked on their blackout poems. "V" is due on Friday.

Geography:  Today we reviewed for the test tomorrow. The South America Trip is located on Google Classroom and is due on Thursday, March 5th. The test is set for March 5th (a study guide was handed out on 2/24- Please make sure they study at home)!

Math:   Students continued lesson 16 dealing with circles.  For homework, find the circumference of the circles on the worksheet.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 5 and moved into lesson 6.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students completed lesson 1.3 in our Populations and Resources unit. Using tokens, students modeled how populations can increase, decrease, or stay the same. No homework.

English:  Students started their blackout poems. We'll finish these tomorrow. AR is due TODAY.
