Science: Continued our genetics unit practical test, "Genetics with a smile". Will finish these tomorrow.
Math: Students graded lesson 3-2 and then went over lesson 3-3. Complete the homework from that lesson for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students looked at lesson 3-5 and reviewed for the Chapter 3 test which will be tomorrow. Homework is: STUDY CHAPTER 3!!
English: Checked the two vocab words. Began Tuck Everlasting journal- either frightening situation or people and nature. In addition, they need to define five words for prologue- due tomorrow.
Geography: Chapter 3 CULTURE-MATERIAL WORLD-Mali and Kuwait cont. Homework: None.

Math: Students graded the packet from yesterday. We then tied many different mathematical concepts related to the MCFD. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over different mathematical concepts related ot the MCFD. No homework.
English: Worked on two new vocab words: dispel and empathy- due next Wednesday. Final copies of letters due today!

Science: Learned how to figure probability and reviewed what we have learned so far in the genetic unit.
Math: Students worked on a packet pertaining to integers. It is to be completed for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students reviewed integers by playing WAR with a deck of cards.
English: Review story charts over "Ribbons". 2 new vocab words, dispel and empathy. Last week's vocab words due tomorrow. If they want a head start, they can work on their rough draft of their letters.

Science: DNA extraction activity. We found out what DNA looks and feels like.
Math: Students discussed the Million Calorie Food Drive which starts MONDAY. We then discussed lesson 2-10. Complete problems 1 - 8 and 14 - 25 for tomorrow. We will meet in room 219 tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on lesson 3-3 in class. Ask your student if he or she had homework.
English: All five paragraphs (intro, three bodies, and conclusion) due tomorrow!!! (Just the rough draft.)
Geography: Chapter 1 test. No homework.

Science: Went over the DNA model and what we have learned about DNA. Should have DNA after teaching paper completed. Tomorrow going to take out some DNA out of a living thing and see what it looks like.
Math: Students worked on packets reviewing lessons 2-6 – 2-9. They were due at the end of the period. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on packets reviewing lessons 3-1 & 3-2. They were due at the end of the period. No homework.
English: Make corrections on intro and conclusion using peer editing sheets. Compose three body paragraphs from the T-charts they created yesterday- due tomorrow.
Geography: Chapter 1 test. No homework.

Math: Students reviewed the material from lessons 2-6, 2-7 and 2-8 and then covered lesson 2-9. Complete the homework from the yellow paper for tomorrow.

Math: Students went over problems from lesson 12-1. We then covered lesson 12-2. Finish the problems that were assigned in class. If you were absent, see Mr. Sanny. We will have a quiz over lessons 12-1 and 12-2 tomorrow.

Science: Test over how cells get energy. Science current event summaries are due Wednesday.
Math: Students took a mult fact quiz, then did more practice problems from lesson 12-1. Finish the problems that were assigned in class. If you were absent, see Mr. Sanny.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the problems from yesterday and then worked on problems 15 - 25 on page 106 in class. Finish it for tomorrow.
English: Familiarize ourselves with the "rainbow packets". Add transitions to the paragraphs they wrote yesterday. Study for vocab quiz- it's tomorrow!
Geography: Chapter 1 sec 2 review-Seasons and Earth's movements. Chapter 1 Sec 3 Read and Vocab. We will have time on Thursday to work on Chapter 1 Vocab. No homework tonight.
