Math:   Students took an oral multiplication fact quiz and then took the module 3 vocabulary quiz.  We then looked at some problems from Lesson 9.  The assessment over lessons 7, 8 and 9 will be Wednesday, Feb 5.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students took an oral multiplication fact quiz and then took the module 3 vocabulary quiz.  They then read some Scholastic Math articles.    
 Science:  Students completed Lesson 1.5 in Chemical Reactions. We learned that if substances are different it is because they are made of different types or groups of atoms. Some teams still need to turn in their final proposal from BabyWarmer (Google Classroom). You can still turn in your Flextension lab papers, but late points will be deducted.

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 22 - Epilogue and vocab. Students did an activity over symbolism. All study guide questions are due today. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students watched Tuck Everlasting and did an activity over symbolism. "R" is due today. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we started the new unit- Stations- Central America & Caribbean. We also read some current events. No homework.

Math:   Students moved into lesson 8 and have problems 1,2 and 3-7 from the problem set.  A spelling quiz over Module 3 words will be this Friday.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students reviewed with a Kahoot for the assessment over lessons 1 - 5 which is tomorrow.  A spelling quiz over Module 3 words will be this Friday.  

Science:  We finished a "Flextension" lab to study properties of substances. Make sure your team has turned in your proposal from BabyWarmer (Google Classroom). Also, have all 4 pages of your Flextension lab worksheets completed - this will be turned in at the beginning of class tomorrow.

English:  Students read Ch. 22 and 23 in Tuck and have questions to answer on google classroom. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students presented their projects, and we began watching the movie. "R" is due Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we worked on a supply and demand activity and worked on finishing up the Quizlet! The students need to have the Quizlet complete before their Geo class period tomorrow! Test is tomorrow- 102 points!

Pre-Algebra:   Students were to complete IXL in the 7th grade to a score of 80.  L1,2,4,5,6,7,9,10,11.  They are to be done by 8 am Wednesday.  Students may have homework.  A spelling quiz over Module 3 words will be this Friday.

Math:   Students either took/retook the Module 3 Topic A Assessment.  All students need to have the following 7th grade IXLs done to a score of a 70: R1, R4, R5, R8, R10, R11 and R14 done by 8 am Wednesday morning.  A spelling quiz over Module 3 words will be this Friday.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students moved into lesson 5 in Module 4.  Students may have homework.  A spelling quiz over Module 3 words will be this Friday.  

Science:  We completed Lesson 1.3 in our Chemical Reactions unit, which involved observing 4 unknown substances to practice making detailed observations. Make sure your team has turned in your proposal from BabyWarmer (Google Classroom). 

English:  Students read Ch. 20-21 and had questions over the chapters on google classroom. All Ch.16-21 questions are due tomorrow. There is a quiz over Ch.16-21 and vocab tomorrow. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students had a project work day. Projects are due tomorrow. "R" is due Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we worked on finishing up notes over North America. The unit notes, timeline, and Quizlet are located on Google Classroom. The North America test is set for January 30th, Thursday!

Math:   Students took the assessment over lessons 1 - 6.  NO homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students had time to work on IXLs.  Grade 7 to a score of 80.  C1 - C6, R4, R8, R10, R12.

Science: Students worked on the introduction and conclusion for their BabyWarmer proposal, and their google Slides sales pitch.  No Homework. Engineering Internship (Day 9). 

English:  Students read Ch. 13, 14, and 15. There are questions on google classroom. There is a quiz on Tuesday over vocab and comprehension of Ch. 7-15. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz today over Ch. 16-21 and vocab. "P" is due today. AR is due March 3rd.


Geography:  Today we worked on finishing 1-18 on the study guide and constructed some more art that originated in Mexico! :). The North America test is set for January 30th.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took an oral multiplication fact quiz and then jumped into Module 4, lesson 1.  Students may have homework.

Science: Students continued their Phase Change Engineering Internship (Day 8). Students worked on their 3 body paragraphs for their proposal. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 11-12, and we enjoyed flapjacks. No questions tonight! AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students read Ch. 19-21. There is a quiz tomorrow over Ch. 16-21 and vocab. "P" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued work on a Geometry Packet looking at volume of spheres and composite shapes.  We then reviewed with a Kahoot.  Students may have homework.   There will be an assessment over volume on Wednesday.

Science: Students continued their Phase Change Engineering Internship (Day 5). Students ran iterative tests and submitted their optimal design. No homework.

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 1-6 and vocab today and had small group discussions. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students read chapters 11, 12, and 13 in the novel. Students need to read 14 and 15 as homework. There is a quiz tomorrow over Ch. 7-15 and vocab. "P" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Science: Students continued their Phase Change Engineering Internship (Day 4). We isolated the PCMs and insulating materials to see their pros and cons. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 5-6 in Tuck Everlasting. They have a few questions to answer on google classroom. There is a quiz over Ch. 1-6 and vocab on Monday. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  We went over new vocabulary today We read chapters 7-10 in the novel. There are questions to do on Google Classroom. "O" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we continued on North America by working on political and physical maps and playing some games :). The maps are now due on Monday, January 13th and the North America test is set for January 30th.

English:  Students read Ch. 3-4 in Tuck Everlasting. They have a few questions to answer on google classroom. There is a quiz over Ch. 1-6 and vocab on Monday. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English: Students had a quiz over Ch. 1-6 today and we discussed more about the novel. "O" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we continued on North America by working on political and physical maps. The maps are due on Friday, January 10th for 50 points and the North America test is set for January 30th.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
