Math:  Students took the quiz over lessons 1-7 - 1-9 and then went over how to calculate percents in your head.  Save ads from stores!

Pre-Algebra:     Students graded 2-2 and then looked at how to calculate percents in your head.  Save ads from stores!

Science: Students applied their Punnett square knowledge to "dragon genetics". No homework.

English:  Students started researching geography. The note guide is due on Monday. AR is due on December 15th.

7th Period English:  Students read Ch. 9-10. There is a quiz tomorrow over Ch. 6-10. K memories are due on Friday. AR is due on December 15th.

Geography:   Today we had a little time to work on maps. Most were able to finish, but ask your student tonight if they completed them map. If not it is homework. The maps (50 pts) are due on Friday along with their Material World note packet (50 pts) and demographics sheet (25 pts)! No late Material World note packets and demographic sheets will be accept after Friday! Reminders are announced daily.

Math:  Students practiced 11 facts on Quizlet (see your Google Classroom).  We then went over over questions from 1-7 & 1-8 and went over 1-9.  Complete 1-7, 9-11 & 17.  We will have a quiz over lessons 1-7 - 1-9 tomorrow.  Save ads from stores!

7th Period English:  Students learned about The Giver projects, and we started reading Ch. 1-3. Students need to read Ch. 1-3 as homework. Research papers are due today. K memories are due on Friday. AR is due on December 15th.

Geography:   Today we compiled all the demographics from Material World and compared and contrasted the data on a worksheet (demographics). Some students may have homework. Their note packet and demographics sheet is due by Friday for credit!

Science: Students finished observing the phases of the cell cycle (interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis) using a microscope. We also learned about meiosis, which creates reproductive cells. Study materials are available on Google Classroom. The test over the cell cycle is planned for Tuesday, November 21st. Continue studying.

English:  Students learned about commas. There are two quill activities to do as homework. AR is due on December 15th.

7th Period English: Students learned about their country research paper. “J” memories are due on Friday. AR is due on December 15th.

Geography:   Today students continued on a country economic comparison using CIA Factbook. The test for World-Religion, Government and Economy will be Nov. 14th. Study help is located at the end of their note packet and also on their Google Classroom. Homework this weekend is to finish up the economic comparison and to start studying.
