Math: Students continued talking about the Birth Announcement Project. It will be due next week. Start collecting the things/information you need for the project. We then tried to find the most efficient way to hand out papers.
Pre-Algebra: Students got their textbooks and began talking about the Birth Announcement Project.
Science: Students explored the surface of Mars using Google Mars. Then they made observations about landforms made by flowing water and flowing lava. No homework.
English: Students worked on their 6WM. Students have a 6 Word Memoir due on Friday. Students have an expectations contract and a movie parent permission form that needs to be signed and returned by 8/27. "All About Me" is due today. AR is due October 15th.

Geography: Students worked on creating a flag that represents themselves. No homework!

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school: Go to the website embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed. You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson. The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
