Math - Students took the week 2 mid-week spelling practice quiz, went over the homework and then took the KPS Assessment over adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. NO homework.

Math - Students took a practice spelling quiz. The graded one will be Fiday. We then reviewed how to convert between fractions, decimals and percents and students took the KPS Assessment.

Science -Last day to work on our healthy habits promotion.

Math - Students went over their spelling words. We will be taking spelling quizzes over math terms the next four weeks. We then went over how to convert between fractions, decimals and percents. Kids were given time to practice in class, no homework. We will be taking a KPS assessment over it either tomorrow or Thursday.

Math - Students graded lessons 4-6 & 4-8. Students were given problems to complete to review for the test. Complete Checkpoint 1, page 163: 1 - 3, 7 - 14, Checkpoint 2, page 175: 1 - 4, 7 - 12 and Chapter 4 Wrap up, page 182: 1, 2, 8, 9, 18, 22 - 24. There will be a Test on Friday over the material we've covered from Chapter 4.

Science -Did active reading about the most important health advances in our history.

Math - Students continued looking at the patterns in Pascal's Triangle. We then reviewed at the divisibility rules of the numbers 2 - 10 and went over lesson 4-5. Complete problems 1 - 6, 8 - 13, 30 - 34 and 38 - 41 for tomorrow. Starting this term, homework assignments are due the next day and will not be accepted late. If a student did not complete the homework by class time, they can come in after school and finish it. Homework assignments will not be accepted after 4 o'clock that day.

English -- In class students took notes over compound sentences and practiced identifying. Finish the worksheet for tomorrow and continue reading for 3rd quarter.

GEOGRAPHY - Students discussed how religion relates to culture and filled out a chart of the world's major religions.

Science -Today we did a disease scavenger hunt.
