Math: Students went over the worksheet, took a new and improved "Grande Soft Taco" mult fact quiz, and played integer war. Students were also shown how to log on to the KPS website to access math activities. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students took yet another "Grande Soft Taco" Multiplication Fact quiz and finished up work with lesson 3-1 & 3-2 and then played integer war. Students were also shown how to log on to the KPS website to access math activities. No homework.
Science: Started the disease unit today. Monday's science is in 113.
English: WRITE #1 was due and students had time to finish the tic-tac-write activity in class. Read your AR book this weekend! The test will be next week.
Geography: Chapter 1 test. Have a safe and fun Halloween! No homework.

Math: Students took a mult fact quiz, graded 3-4 and were given a review worksheet they are to complete for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students took yet another "Grande Soft Taco" Multiplication Fact quiz and continued work with lesson 3-1. Students were given worksheets to complete for tomorrow.
Science: Finished the video/discussion on GENETIC ENGINEERING. These sites are on my Moodle site. Friday's science is in 113.
English: Reviewed sentence structure in class. Homework: Sentence structure activity due tomorrow. WRITE #1 due Friday.
Geography: We studied by playing Jeopardy today in class. Homework tonight is to study for Chp 1 Test! Chapter 1; section 1-3 TEST is Friday-TOMORROW!!!!!!

Math: Students went over the chapter wrap up and reviewed for the test. THE CHAPTER 2 TEST IS TOMORROW.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the problems from 2-7 and worked on the problems from 2-8. Complete them for homework.
Science: Learned how to make Punnett squares to figure the probability of getting different genes. Started the graded hands on practical test: "Genetics with a smile".
English: Interjections in class. Study guides were handed out for our test over Prepositions, Conjunctions, and Interjections on Friday. We will go over the study guide together in class tomorrow. Homework: WRITE #3 due Friday. AR goals are due on Wednesday, October 21.
Geography: Students were given an extra day to continue on Landform Books in the media center. Landform Books will be due October 16th!!! Homework is to finish landform books!

Math: Students graded yesterday's homework and were assigned problems from the Chapter Wrap Up. THE CHAPTER 2 TEST WILL BE THURSDAY.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded the problems from 2-6 and were assigned the problems from 2-7.
Science: Did a food coloring lab that taught us the concept of Incomplete dominance.

assigned the problems from Problem solving practice on page 71 and the
checkpoint 1 on page 79.

Monday. AR goals are due on Wednesday, October 21. Short story final copies

Math: Students graded turned in lesson 2-6 homework and covered lesson 2-7. Students had time in class to complete the homework. If they didn't get done, finish it for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over problems from lesson 2-3 and lesson 2-4. We then looked at solving one step equations involving addition or subtraction. No homework.
Science: Went over the generations activity. Wednesday we started the "Marshmallow baby" activity. You will finish this activity on Friday. Science current event summaries were due this Wednesday October 7th.
English: Prepositions in class today. Homework: AR reminders need to be signed and returned. Short story final copies are due on Friday. WRITE Activity #2 due Friday.

English: Creative Writing: Short story activity. Homework: Rough draft is due tomorrow and we will edit/revise in class. The final draft will be due on Friday. WRITE Activity #2 due Friday.
