Math:  We took a GST,  and then kids had time to finish their BIG MATH packet which is due Monday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the 8-7 worksheet, and jumped into 8-8.  Students may have homework.    See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned some examples of symbiosis by participating in a matching activity.  We also watched a few videos to better understand the three types of symbiosis. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 10 in class and received a new vocabulary paper that is due on Thursday/Friday. Final projects are due on May 9th and there will be a final test. AR is due May 12.

Geography:    Today we took an open note test. Some students took the opportunity for +10 bonus points on their test if they DID NOT use their notes. Ask your student what they decided. Have a great weekend!

English:  Students turned in the vocab for Ch. 7-9. It was also Outsiders dress up day See Mrs. D if you were gone.   AR is due May 12.

English:  Students read Ch. 8 in The Outsiders. Projects were due today, and vocab for Ch. 7-9 is due tomorrow. It's also Outsiders dress up day tomorrow. Dress up! AR is due May 12.

Math:  We went over 8-8.  Students then had time to work on the rest of the 8-4 - 8-8 packet, and then received another packet of problems to practice for the Assessment which is Monday.  Students will also need to know the Quadrilateral Flow Chart.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the packet, and then jumped into Lesson 8-6.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students finished constructing an aquatic, marine, alpine, and arboreal food chain.  Students then participated in a cougar hunt activity.  No homework.

English:  Today we took a quiz over Ch. 5-6 and had a lit circle. Parent permission forms are due today. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

Math:  Students were given a grade sheet if their grade is currently low.  Students then received a packet over lessons 8-1 - 8-3 and began working through it.  Depending on how kids work during class, it will be due either Thursday (3rd period) or Friday (6th & 7th).

Pre-Algebra:   Students jumped into Chapter 8 with lesson 8-1.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned about the classification of living things (Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species).  No homework.

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 1-2 in The Outsiders, and we had a lit. circle. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

7th Period English: Students read Ch. 3-4 and checked vocab in class. There will be a quiz tomorrow over Ch. 3-4 and vocab tomorrow. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

Geography:    Students were introduced to the idea of currency conversions. We practiced and looked at different currencies. This is an intro to our Family Vacations that we will start tomorrow.  No homework.

Math:  Students turned in the Term 3 Vocab Activities and took the spelling quiz over the words.  Mr. Sanny then showed the kids how to do the newest multiplication fact quiz, called the Grande Soft Taco (GST).

Math:  Students worked on reviewing for the NeSA tests which will be next week.  Students have homework if they didn't get done what they needed to in class.  Vocab Activities are due Wednesday.  We will be taking the quiz over the words on Wednesday.

Science:  Students learned about their integumentary system (skin).  There will be a test Friday over the body systems.  A practice test has been handed out.  Study!

Welcome to the Team 7-4 Daily Blog

Math:  Students reviewed lesson 6-5 and then took the Chapter 6 FA.  We then went over the Chapter 5 FA and students had time to work on their Vocabulary Review Activities.  Those are due at the beginning of class Wednesday of next week.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the Chapter 7 FA and then had time to work on their Vocabulary Review Activities.  They are due MONDAY at the beginning of class.

Science:  Students learned the names of some hormones and their effect on the body.  No homework.

English:  Students worked on typing their TDA. TDAs are due on Tuesday.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students learned new 50 Words. TDA revisions are due on Friday. AR is due on May 12th. 

Geography:    Today students continued on their Asia notes.  They were handed out an Asia textbook worksheet the week before spring break- due April 8th.  The Asia Test will be April 8th!
