Math: Students talked about names and watched a video about math magic.
Pre-Algebra: Students were welcomed and talked about names.
Science: Students compared rocky planets with habitability in mind. No homework.
English: Students received an expectations contract and a movie parent permission form that needs to be signed and returned by 8/27. They also received an "All About Me" paper that needs to be completed by 8/20. Students learned about Accelerated Reading and checked out books. AR is due October 15th.

Geography: Students worked on the beginning of year activities and classroom procedures. No homework!

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school: Go to the website embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed. You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson. The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
