Math:  Students graded the 4-6 and began looking at problems that use Dimensional Analysis to convert labels.  NO homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over 5-5 and then covered 5-6 and 5-7.  No homework.

Science: Students took a test over the digestive system.  No homework.

English:  Today we searched our books for AAAWWUBBIS sentences. Students will have 20 minutes on Monday to work on this with their partner. If they do not think they'll get done in time, I suggest working on this at home over the weekend. AR goals are due on March 4th! 5 days!

Math:  Students continued looking at Metric Measurement.  Students had some time to work on homework have it completed for tomorrow.  Lesson 4-6:  1-9, 14 - 28, 31 and 43

Pre-Algebra:   Students graded lesson 5-4 and moved on to 5-5.  Complete the 5-5 homework for tomorrow.

Science: Students provided peer feedback on the digestive system projects.  We then reviewed for tomorrow's test.  Test over the Digestive System tomorrow.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today we learned about complex sentences and took notes in our journals. No homework! AR goals are due on March 4th! 6 days!

Math:  Students graded lesson 4-5, looked at adding and subtracting mixed measurements and then began looking at Metric Measurement..

Pre-Algebra:   Students worked on a few more problems that use Dimensional Analysis.  We also started lesson 5-4.  Students had a worksheet homework.

Science: Students were given one final class period to finish their Digestive System Project.  Projects are due tomorrow when students come to class.  Test over the Digestive System Friday, February 27th.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today we learned about subordinate conjunctions and took notes in our journals. No homework! AR goals are due on March 4th! 7 days!

Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz, then worked on the measurement powerpoint.  For homework, lesson 4-5:  10-18, 28, 29 and 37 for tomorrow.

Math:  Students went over the Chapter 4A assessment.  Then we started measurement notes.  No homework

Science: Students finished their lab report from Friday's lab about Calories.  Students then began working on a Digestive System Project.  Projects due Thursday.  Test over the Digestive System Friday, February 27th.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today we learned about simple sentences and took notes in our journals. Students have a worksheet (front/back) that is due tomorrow. Their menus are due on google classroom today by 4pm. AR goals are due on March 4th! 9 days!

Honors English: Today we reviewed our WordMasters test and started learning about simple sentences! AR goals are due March 4th! 9 days!

Honors English: We watched Tuck Everlasting in class today. No homework! AR goals are due March 4th! 12 days!

Geography:  Today we handed in and went over the station activity for Central America and the Caribbean.  Station packet will be due today!  If they are behind in the packet they CAN ALWAYS take it home to work on it!

Math:  Students went over the 4-3 homework, played a review Kahoot game and then discussed lesson 4-4.  Complete the homework from 4-4 for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students played a Kahoot game, discussed measurement conversions and worked on problems that use Dimensional Analysis to get the correct answer.  Students may have homework from lesson 5-3.

Science: Students observed the effect of an enzyme while making cheese.  No homework.

English:  Students started typing their restaurant menu. It is due on google classroom on Monday by 4pm. No homework tonight. They have time in class tomorrow to work on it. AR goals are due on March 4th! 13 days!

Honors English: We watched Tuck Everlasting in class today. No homework! AR goals are due March 4th! 13 days!

Math:  Students graded lesson 4-2, finished the powerpoint from yesterday.  We then went over 4-3, complete the 4-3 homework for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 4-2 and then went over lesson 4-3.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science: Students finished notes over the digestive system.  We then made a model of the digestive system in our science notebook.  No homework.

English:  Today we finished Tuck Everlasting and are comparing and contrasting the differences between the movie and book. The students started their restaurant menu. It is due on google classroom on Monday by 4pm. No homework tonight. We're working on it in class tomorrow. AR goals are due on March 4th!

Honors English: Today is our WordMasters test. Students turned in their take-home test and we started watching Tuck Everlasting. No homework!

English:  Today we watched Tuck Everlasting and are comparing and contrasting the differences between the movie and book. No homework! AR goals are due on March 4th!

Honors English: Today we graded our WordMasters sentences and reviewed our words.  STUDY WORDMASTERS! Wordmasters test is on Wednesday, February 18th.

English:  Today we played literary elements bingo! I also handed extra credit that is due on Wednesday.

Honors English: Today we played WordMasters bingo. I handed out a fill-in-blank sentence worksheet that is due on Monday. STUDY WORDMASTERS! Wordmasters test is on February 18th.

Geography:  Today students looked over the test and talked about current events.  No homework.

Math:  Students took the Chapter 7 Formative Assessment.  All zeroes need to be taken care by Monday at 4 pm.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued reviewing different statistical topics.  We will take the test on Tuesday.

Science: Students tested their vital capacity.  This past Tuesday's textbook assignment is due next Tuesday, February 10th.  Test over the Respiratory System moved to Wednesday, February 11th.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today we typed our final draft. Several students got it done in class and turned it in on google classroom. Homework: Type and turn in your final draft on Monday by 4pm.

Math:  Students graded the Study Guide Review problems, went over current grades (all zeroes need to be taken care of by Monday, Feb 9 by 4 pm.  We then took an oral mult fact quiz and review for the Chapter 7 Formative Assessment which is tomorrow.

Science: Students learned about gas exchange, added a drawing of it in their science notebook, and watched a video.  Tuesday's textbook assignment is due next Tuesday, February 10th.  Test over the Respiratory System moved to Tuesday, February 10th.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today we started our rough draft for our descriptive essay. Homework: If students didn't get done with their rough draft they have that as homework tonight.

Math:  Students reviewed Chapter 7 getting reading for an assessment, which will be Thursday.  For homework, do problems 7, 8, 10 - 14, 16, 17, 19 - 22. on page 436 for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students had a worksheet to review different statistical topics.

Science: Students worked on a Respiratory System textbook packet.  Packets are due Friday and some class time will be given Thursday to finish working on the packet.  Test over the Respiratory System Friday.  A study guide has been handed out.

English:  Today students started working on their descriptive essay. Their descriptive essay webs are due tomorrow.

Honors English: Today students took their final test over Tuck Everlasting. They turned in their study guides and vocab today. No homework!
