Math:  Students shared their 2 truths and one lie.  THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH.

Pre-Algebra:   Students shared their 2 truths and one lie.  THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH.

Science:  Students reviewed for tomorrow's test.  A study guide has been given to each student.  We also began taking notes over cell parts and functions.  Study!

English:  
  Students summarized the article "I Almost Died: Where Do Your Clothes Come From?" in class today. There was a short quiz on the article today, and students could use their magazine. Summarization will be due tomorrow.

Geography:  
  Students had a little time to finish up their maps and worked on a map reflection.  Students then reviewed for the test tomorrow.  Homework tonight is to study for their test tomorrow.

Today, 7-4 students will be took the MAP reading test.  Today, they missed their morning classes, but had a regular afternoon schedule.


Math:  We discussed the Birth Announcement project.  We discussed some more of the math and Mr. Sanny show examples of previous projects, good and not as good.  IT WILL BE DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH.

Science:  Students took notes over the concept that cell structure determines cell function.  Students have received a study guide for a test planned for Tuesday September 1st.  Study!

English:  
  Students summarized the article "I Almost Died: Where Do Your Clothes Come From?" in class today. We will continue to summarize the article on Monday. There will be a short quiz on the article on Monday. Summarization will be due on Tuesday.

Geography:  
  Students worked on their Continents and Oceans Maps today and then MAP tested in the PM.  Make sure you are handing in your self-flags!

Today and tomorrow, 7-4 students will be taking the MAP tests.  Today, they missed their afternoon classes, tomorrow, they will miss their morning classes.  So the blog will be the same both days.

Math:  We discussed the Birth Announcement project.  Mr. Sanny pointed out the requirements for the project and showed how to do some of the math.  Kids need to gather information for the project tonight.  Mr. Sanny will show good and "not as good" examples tomorrow as well as discuss some more of the math.  IT WILL BE DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH.

  Students read the article "I Almost Died: Where Do Your Clothes Come From?" in class today. We discussed what it means to be a global citizen. Composition notebooks need to have pages numbered by tomorrow.

Geography:  
  Students continued on Continents and Oceans by taking notes and then we started on our World Maps.  Self flags are due today!

Pre-Algebra:   We officially checked out textbooks and then looked at and bookmarked important websites for the kids.

Science:  Students observed and sketched cheek and onion cells under a microscope.  Students have received a study guide for a test planned for Tuesday September 1st.  Begin studying.

English:  
  Students worked on their 6 Word Memoirs. The 6 Word Memoir is due today at the end of class. Students had time to number the pages to their composition notebooks. If they didn't finish in class, it is homework. The numbered pages are due on Thursday.

Geography:  
  Students started on Continents and Oceans by taking notes.  Self flags are due on Wednesday.

Science:  Students learned how to use a microscope.  Students have received a study guide for a test planned for Tuesday September 1st.  Begin studying.

English:  
  Students worked on their 6 Word Memoirs. 6 Word Memoir is due tomorrow at the end of class. Students will have a work day tomorrow as well.

Geography:  
  Students worked on self flags.  They are due Tuesday.

Science:  Students learned more about the characteristics of living things via a website on Google Classroom.  Students began some note-taking in their science notebook.  No homework.  

English: Students had a library day today. Students were able to check out AR books and begin reading. All About Me worksheet was due today. Expectations contracts and composition notebooks are due on Friday.

Geography:  Students worked on getting to know each other in class!  No homework.

English: Students learned more about class routines, and we played a get-to-know-you game. No homework.
