Math:  Students took the Chapter 7 FA.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the Chapter 5 FA.  No homework.

Science:  Students finished learning about our diaphragm and how it helps us breathe.  Tuesday's Respiratory System packet is due Friday, February 5th.  A study guide was handed out today.  A test over the Respiratory System is planned for Friday, February 5th.  

English:  Students reviewed Tuck vocab and took a quiz over Ch. 7-15 in Tuck. There was a study guide check today. AR is due in 35 days!

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz over 50 Words. AR is due in 35 days!

Geography:    Students continued on their North America notes- American history and worked on a vocabulary activity.  No homework.

Math:  Students went over lessons 7-8  and 7-9 and then discussed lesson 7-10 .  Complete the homework from 7-10 and the practice quiz for tomorrow.  The Chapter 7 FA will be tomorrow.  Take care of all zeroes immediately.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the RTGO.   We then continued reviewing for the Chapter 5 FA which is tomorrow.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students made a model of the respiratory system and explored Boyle's Law.  Tuesday's Respiratory System packet is due Friday, February 5th.  

English:  Students read Ch 13-15 in Tuck Everlasting.  Vocab is was checked today in class. Study guides are due on Friday for Ch. 7-15.  The quiz is Friday over Ch 7-15. AR is due in 36 days!

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz over Tuck Everlasting Ch. 7-15.  50 Words worksheets were due today. There will be a short quiz over the words tomorrow.  AR is due in 36 days!

Geography:    Students continued on their North America notes- Mexico history and we finished class with an all seeing eye activity!  No homework.

Math:  Students went over lessons 7-6  and 7-7 and then discussed lessons 7-8 and 7-9.  The Chapter 7 FA will be Friday.  Take care of all zeroes immediately.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 5-8.   We then started reviewing for the Chapter 5 FA which is Friday.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students diagramed the process of gas exchange between the alveoli and capillaries and watched a video showing this process.  Yesterday's Respiratory System packet is due Friday, February 5th.  

English:  Students read Ch 11-12 in Tuck Everlasting.  Vocab is due Thursday and study guides are due on Friday.  The quiz is Friday over Ch 7-15. AR is due in 37 days!

7th Period English:  Students read the rest of Ch. 7-15 in Tuck Everlasting.  Vocab was graded in class today.  Quiz is on Thursday over Ch 7-15.  50 Words worksheets are due Thursday.  AR is due in 37 days!

Math:  Students graded the RTGO? on page 404.  We then handed back results from the spelling quiz and FA 3D.  We then took a plicker quiz to review lessons 7-1 - 7-5.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 5-6.   We then went over lesson 5-7.   The homework is due Monday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students turned in the Vocab Activities, took the spelling quiz, went over lesson 5-5 and jumped into lesson 5-6.  The homework is due Monday.

Science:  Students took a test over the circulatory system.

English:  Students took a quiz over Tuck Everlasting Ch. 1-6. Students' study guides were checked for completion. AR is due in 40 days!

7th Period English:  We worked on word cards for 50 Words. Word cards are due on Monday. They also received two worksheets that are due by Thursday next week.  AR is due in 40 days!

Science:  Students reviewed for tomorrow's test over the circulatory system by playing Jeopardy.  A study guide has been handed out.  Study!  Chapter 23 packet which was assigned last Thursday is also due tomorrow.

English:  Students read Tuck Everlasting Ch 5 - Ch 6 in class and we checked vocab worksheets.   Study guide Ch 1-6 is due on Friday.  Quiz on Friday over Ch. 1 - 6.  AR is due in 41 days!

Math:  We went over the FA 3C and had a plicker review for tomorrow's FA 3D.  For homework do:  page 168:  5, 14, 23, 24 and page 202: 20 and 33.  Students also received the Term 2 Vocabulary Activities.  They are due Friday.  We will take the spelling quiz over the words then.

Pre-Algebra:   We went over questions on the Dimensional Analysis packet and then did a Plicker quiz.  Students also received the Term 2 Vocabulary Activities.  They are due Friday.  We will take the spelling quiz over the words then.

Science:  Students got to observe a real heart (sheep heart).  A study guide has been handed out.  The Circulatory System Test will be this Friday, January 22nd.  The Ch 23 packet that was assigned last Thursday is due Friday the 22nd as well.  Textbooks can be taken home in order to finish this assignment.

Math:  We graded 3-4, had a quick review and then took the FA 3C over decimals.  We will have another FA on Tuesday, dealing with just story problems and decimals.  For practice, do:  page 168: 5, 14, 23, 24 and 29 as well as page 202: 20, 33.

Pre-Algebra:   We finished lesson 5-3.  Students finally have homework.

Science:  Students learned how blood moves through the body.  We performed a skit and took some notes.  A study guide was handed out today.  The Circulatory System Test will be Friday, January 22nd.  The Ch 23 packet that was assigned yesterday is due Friday the 22nd as well.  Textbooks can be taken home in order to finish this assignment. 

English: Students typed their timed writing essay today. No homework! AR is due in 46 days.

Pre-Algebra:   We went over  5-1 and then jumped into lesson 5-2.  Complete the homework for Monday.

Science:  Students completed a 2-sided worksheet about the 11 human body systems using Google Classroom.  No homework, unless the 2-sided worksheet wasn't finished in class.

English: Students started writing their rough draft for their descriptive essay. They do not need to finish all of the pre-writing activities (must complete the webs, hook, and thesis), but they do need to complete the rough draft as homework for Monday. AR is due in 53 days.

Welcome to the Team 7-4 Daily Blog
Tuesday,  January 5, 2016

Math:  We went over the Holiday Shopping Spree, talked about Plickers and then discussed Big Money.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   We went over the Holiday Shopping Spree and then discussed Big Money.  No homework.

Science:  Students began our frog dissection unit.  Today we made external observation.  No homework.

English: Students had a Library Day! Students were able to check out a new AR book for the term. AR is due in 56 days. 

7th Period English: Students had a Library Day! Students were able to check out a new AR book for the term. AR is due in 56 days.

Geography:    Today we introduced nutrition and the Hungry Planet unit.  No homework!
