MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.  

Math:   Students  went over lesson  9.  For tomorrow, STUDY LESSONS 7, 8 AND 9.  There will be a test TOMORROW over lessons 7, 8 and 9.  Students will have a spelling/definition quiz next Monday (Feb 4) over the Module 3 words that were given to you.  If you lost your copy, you can find the words on Mr. Sanny's website under Vocabulary Activities. 

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the test lessons 7, 8 and 9.  The test over lessons 10 - 15 will be on TOMORROW.  Students will have a spelling/definition quiz next Monday (Feb 4) over the Module 3 words that were given to you.  If you lost your copy, you can find the words on Mr. Sanny's website under Vocabulary Activities.   
      
Science:  Students filled out a study guide in class and then played Kahoot. Use your study guide and study! The Circulatory System test is planned for tomorrow, February 1st. The deadline for the Immune System Project is Monday, February 4th. Is your project finished and ready to be graded?

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch.22-Epilogue and vocab. Study guide is due today. Students began working on their projects. Projects are due on Tuesday. Students will have Friday and Monday to work on projects in class. AR is due March 6th.

7th Period English:  Students watched Tuck Everlasting the movie. "Q" is due Friday. AR is due March 6th.

Geography:   Today we took the North America test. We will be starting on a Central America station unit tomorrow and continue Monday-Wednesday. They will be working with a partner, but have the option to work alone.

Math:   Students  continued with lesson 8.    We worked through as many of the Problem Set on page 56 and 57 as possible.  Students need to have 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 done for tomorrow.  There will be a test this Friday over lessons 7, 8 and 9.  Students will have a spelling/definition quiz next Monday (Feb 4) over the Module 3 words that were given to you.  If you lost your copy, you can find the words on Mr. Sanny's website under Vocabulary Activities.

English:  Students read Ch. 22-23 in class. We took notes over vocab. Students may work on their study guide questions 1-6. AR is due March 6th.

Math:   Students took a multiplication fact quiz and then started taking notes on lesson 7.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished lesson 13 and jumped into lesson 14.  Students may have homework for tomorrow.  There will be a test next Tuesday over lessons 7, 8 and 9.  The test over lessons 10 - 15 will be on Wednesday.  
      
Science:  Students have been given 2 & 1/2 days to work on their Immune System Video Project. This project is due Monday January 28th by 4PM and no more class time will be given for completing it, so finish up after school in Mrs. Eidem's room or at home. Students continued learning about the circulatory system and took some notes over the path of blood. Begin studying for the circulatory system test (planned for Friday February 1st) by being able to label the heart diagram and understanding how it shows the path of blood. One side is labeled and the other side is not so you can use the handout like a flashcard.

English:  Students read Ch. 18-19 and received more literary terms. Students can answer questions 6-11 on their study guide. AR is due March 6th.

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 22- Epilogue. Students also worked on their projects. "P" is due on Friday. AR is due March 6th.

Geography:   Today in class we continued notes over North America. They have been working on a review worksheet in class these past weeks. It was turned in today. Ask them if they have turned it in. It is called Yes-No-Why worksheet. North America test is tentatively set for Thursday, January 31st.

Math:   Students had another day to review for the test which is over lessons 1 - 6 and is tomorrow.  Students had the class period to complete the 7th grade IXL activities: C3, C7, C8, G1, G3, G9 and G12.  These need to be done by the beginning of class tomorrow.  You will need your ChromeBook on Wednesday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 12 and had a solving equations worksheet.  Students may have homework for tomorrow.
      
Science:  Students worked on Immune System video project for 20 minutes. Then started coloring a circulatory system diagram as a class. Students are responsible for finishing their immune system project on their own from now on, it is due Monday, the 28th of January by 4PM.

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 7-15 and we talked about Tuck projects. AR is due March 6th.

7th Period English:  Students read Ch. 22-23 in class. They need to finish Ch. 24 today as homework. "P" is due on Friday. AR is due March 6th.

Science:  Students learned more about the immune system and finished taking notes. Frog Dissection packets are due Thursday at the beginning of class (many students have already turned them in). If your class talked about the immune system project, remember to bring props on Thursday.

Math:   Students took the brand new Oral Mult fact quiz for a grade.  We then went over lesson 2.  We jumped into lesson 3.  No homework.    

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished Module 3 Lesson 8 and jumped into lesson 9.  Students may have homework for Monday.
      
Science:  Students finished frog dissection. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 5-6 in Tuck. The study guide is due on Monday. There is a quiz on Monday over Prologue - Ch. 6 and vocabulary. AR is due March 6th.

7th Period English:  Students read Ch. 7-10. "N" is due on Friday. AR is due March 6th.

Geography:   Today in class we caught up on current events from around the world. Students also had some time to work on their North America maps. The maps are due on TODAY for 50 points. They can use Google Classroom to help with map locations or they are always welcome to check out a textbook!

Math:   Students took the brand new Oral Mult fact quiz.  We then finished up lesson 2.  Students need to have the exit ticket completed as well as problems 2, 3, 4 and 7 fromthe book, on pages s.12 and s.13 for tomorrow.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Module 3 Lesson 8 and jumped into lesson 9.  Students may have homework for tomorrow.   
      
Science:  Students continued frog dissection. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 3-4 in Tuck. Please finish questions 9-12 in the study guide. AR is due March 6th.

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz over Prologue - Ch. 6 today. Study guides were due today. We also had a lit circle. "N" is due on Friday. AR is due March 6th.

Geography:   Today in class we reviewed the 50 United States. The maps are due on Friday for 50 points. They can use Google Classroom to help with map locations or they are always welcome to check out a textbook! Homework would be to work on maps.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.
