The last day of PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are on the 27th.  Hope to see you there!  Have a great 4 day weekend.

Math: Students took a multiplication fact quiz and graded 2-1 homework.  We started section 2-2 dealing with pawzies vs. neggies.  No Homework.

Pre-Algebra: Students took the Formative Assessment over Chapter 1. No Homework.

Geography: MapQuest activity.  I gave the students a few min to work in the lab to wrap up the assignment.  CNN student news-current events.  Homework:  IF MapQuest activity isn't finished it becomes homework.

English:  "The Third Wish"test. No homework.

Science:  The Chapter 3 crossword puzzle was due today.  Students who failed to turn the crossword in on time were given a science textbook to take home over the weekend so they could finish this assignment.  We went over the study guide so students can study for next Tuesday's test.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES  are the 24th, 25th and 27th.  Hope to see you there!

Math: Students went over the Are You Ready Homework in class.  Went over section 2-1.  Homework 2-1

Pre-Algebra: Students worked in pairs to complete a Chapter 1 test review.  Test Tomorrow!!  Study, Study Study!!!

Geography: MapQuest activity continued in the computer lab.  No homework.

English:  "The Third Wish" review sheet. Reading guide due today. "The Third Wish" test is TOMORROW! Also, students are ALWAYS allowed to take their textbooks home if needed to complete an assignment. 

Science:  Students communicated their lab results with their class from the osmosis lab.  The Chapter 3 crossword puzzle is due tomorrow.  Students were allowed to check-out a science textbook after school.  Students also received a study guide for next Tuesday's test.

Math:  Students received their Chapter 1 tests today.  We went over key problems missed and then students worked in pairs to complete the Are You Ready section of Chapter 2.  What the students don't get finished in class is homework.

Pre-Algebra:  Students played a Jeopardy review game to help them prepare for them Formative Assessment on Wednesday.  No Homework

Geography: MapQuest activity.    No homework.

English: Read "The Third Wish."  Complete and review packet. Test on Wednesday. 

Science:  Students finished their lab report for the osmosis lab.  Students also worked on a Ch 3 crossword puzzle.  No homework.

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Back to basics today- Practice!  No homework.

English: Noun Test Today.   

Science:  Students finished presenting their cell analogy projects.  Students began preparing for an osmosis lab.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra: Students will go through section 1-8 over solving one-step equations using addition and subtraction.  1-8 Homework

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Absolutely Correct!  No homework.

English: Noun review today. Noun test tomorrow.  

Science:  Students are presenting their cell analogy projects.  Period 3: We started talking about osmosis and students began designing their next lab.  No homework.

Math:  Students got their homework quiz back and we went over the quiz.  Students then played a review jeopardy game for the remainder of the period.  Students will be taking a Formative Assessment tomorrow.  No Homework.

Pre-Algebra: Students got their quiz back and we discussed main problems missed.  Started working on section 1-8, but class was shortened due to an assembly.  1-8 Homework

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Absolutely Correct!  No homework.

English: Watched "Riki Tiki Tavi" movie. Noun review tomorrow. Noun quiz on Wednesday.  

Science:  Students are presenting their cell analogy projects.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:  Students reviewed and took an assessment over the four operations and integers.  No homework.

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Quick review and then a Quiz checking for understanding.  No homework.

English: "Riki Tiki Tavi" Quiz. Composition notebooks due today. Noun packets DUE MONDAY!!

Math:   Students graded the worksheet from yesterday, discussed lesson 1-11 and had part of class to work on the homework.  Finish it for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:  Students looked at how to multiply and divide integers.  Ask him or her what story they remember in order to do the work.  Complete the homework for lesson 1-7 for tomorrow.

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Did quick practice over Lat and Long and worked on lesson #5.  No homework.

English: Finish "Riki Tiki Tavi" today. Reviewed for quiz tomorrow.

English: Library orientation with Mrs. Christensen. Check out an AR book.

Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit.  Notes and definitions today.  No homework.

English: Noun Unit. The students were given a noun worksheet packet. Begin reading "Riki Tiki Tavi" and discuss plot.

English:  End Marks Worksheet. Begin writing narrative essays. Due Friday.
