Math:   Students set up some bookmarks on their Chromebooks and did an other example for the Birth Announcement Project.  It will be due Thursday, August 29th.  Start collecting the things/information you need for the project.  We also started Module 1 Lesson 1, no homework.

Science: Students learned about active reading and annotating. No homework.  

English: Students learned about email etiquette and had a scavenger hunt. Students need to send an email to me displaying correct etiquette by Wednesday next week 8/28. There are instructions on google classroom. Students have a 6 Word Memoir due on Friday. Students have an expectations contract and a movie parent permission form that needs to be signed and returned by 8/27. AR is due October 15th.

Geography:  Students worked on a mental map of the world, created their geography folder, and had some time to work on their self flags. Self flags are due on Friday.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
