Math:   Students went over the homework from lesson 18.  We then jumped into lesson 20.  Have your conversions completed and a rough draft drawn for tomorrow.   We will have an assessment Friday over lessons 16 - 20.  You will need your chromebook that day. 

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished up lesson 20 and hopefully jumped into lesson 21.  Depending on how much we were able to do in class, students will have homework.  We will have an assessment Friday over lessons 17 - 22.  You will need your chromebook that day. 

Science: Students continued our Engineering Internship on Plate Motion (Day 3). If you are not happy with your scientific argument grades for Plate Motion or the Jalisco Block, you may come in after school by October 11th 4:00 pm and redo them.

English:  Adverb/Preposition Test handed back today. Any outstanding work needs to be taken care of for this grammar unit by Thursday. We started the Riki Tiki Tavi story today.
****AR is due October 15th.

7th Period English:  Adverb/Preposition Test handed back today. We are starting sentence structure. AR is due October 15th. ABC writing this week, letter "F"


Geography:  Today we continued to work on a Google Earth: Landform Hunt. Students have had two days to work on it. Some will finish early and will have time to continue to work on the Landform Textbook Worksheet. The Landform Textbook worksheet and the Google Earth: Landform Hunt is due on Friday. Ask your student if they were able to finish or if they have homework! Looking ahead- We will take a test over Landforms, Water Resources, and Climate on October 16th.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
