Math:   Students graded the worksheet. We then went over lessons 5 and 6.  For lesson 5, do 1 & 3 from the problem set.  For lesson 6, do 1 - 10 in the problem set.  There will be a test over lessons 5 - 9 (subtracting integers/rational numbers)  on Friday.  You will need your computer.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 7 and moved into lesson 8.  Students may have homework. There will be a test over lessons 7, 8 and 9 on Friday.  You will need your computer.

Science: Students completed lesson 2.1 from our Rock Transformations unit. Students learned how energy is involved in rock transformations, for example weathering and erosion.

English:  Sentence Structure test taken today. All make up work must be done by the end of today. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term.

7th Period English: We finished notes on capitalization. Google Classroom Homework; Capitalization #1. Study Guide worked on for the test on punctuation which will be on Wednesday. ABC writing this week, letter "I". A.R. reading points have been assigned for second quarter.

Geography:  Today we continued on world culture by discussing and taking notes. The students have an extra credit opportunity that is due before the test on Thursday (on Google Classroom). Looking ahead- Population, Developed vs. Developed Countries and Culture Traits Test is on October 31st

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
