Math: Students went over the homework and then jumped into lessons7 and 8. For lesson 7, do 1-6 from the problem set. There will be a test over lessons 5 - 9 (subtracting integers/rational numbers) on Friday. You will need your computer.
Pre-Algebra: Students finished up lesson 8 and moved into lesson 9. Students may have homework. There will be a test over lessons 7, 8 and 9 on Friday. You will need your computer.
Science: Students completed lesson 2.2 from our Rock Transformations unit. Students read an article about "Devils Tower" to learn more about rock formations.
English: Sentence Structure test given back today. We started punctuation notes today. "End Marks" notes Google Classroom Homework End Marks 1. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term.
7th Period English: Test taken on Punctuation today. All Google Classroom Homework should be completed and in. ABC writing this week, letter "I". A.R. reading points have been assigned for second quarter.
Geography: Today we took class time to prepare for the test tomorrow. The students have an extra credit opportunity that is due before the test on Thursday (on Google Classroom). Looking ahead- Population, Developed vs. Developed Countries and Culture Traits Test is on October 31st.
**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school: Go to the website embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed. You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson. The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
