Math: Students went over the homework and then jumped into lessons 8 and 9. For lesson 7, do 1-6 from the problem set. There will be a test over lessons 5 - 9 (subtracting integers/rational numbers) on Friday. You will need your computer.
Pre-Algebra: Students reviewed lesson 9 and reviewed for the test. STUDY! There will be a test over lessons 7, 8 and 9 on Friday. You will need your computer.
Science: Students completed lesson 2.3 from our Rock Transformations unit. Students learned that sedimentary rock can be transformed into igneous rock and vice versa.
English: We continued punctuation notes today. "Comma 1" notes. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term. No Google Homework today.
7th Period English: Test on Punctuation returned today. We started our research papers information today. ABC writing this week, letter "I". A.R. reading points have been assigned for second quarter.
Geography: Today we took the Population and Culture test in class. Looking ahead- We will begin World Religion, World Government, and World Economy tomorrow and into next week! This World Religion, Government and Economy test will be November 8th.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school: Go to the website embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed. You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson. The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
