Conferences are coming up September 23rd, 24th and 26th. Students were
given a sheet on Friday, September 6 which had instructions how to use
the website "signupgenius.com" to sign up for conferences. Please sign
up as soon as possible as our limited slots are filling up.
Math:
Students graded lesson 1-2, were given their Birth Announcement with their current grade on it and then discussed lesson 1-3. Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Geography: Final Review from the year. Final day for ALL grades are May 20th. There will be homework/study guide on Thursday.

Geography: Day 1 Final Review from the year. I offered an extra credit opportunity for vocabulary if students worked hard and filled it out to the best of their ability. Ask your student if they took the opportunity. Final day for ALL grades are May 20th. There will be homework/study guide on Thursday.

Pre-Algebra: Students graded 8-3. We then went over lesson 8-4. Complete the homework for Tuesday.
Geography: WWI and WWII cont. Ask your students if they turned in their Europe maps=50 points.
English: The Outsiders read chapter 10. It is your responsibility to complete the study guide outside of class!

Math: Students turned in the Big Math answer sheet and took the two parts of the Assessment over lessons 8-4 - 8-8. Students are to complete the weeks 16 - 18 and most had time in class to finish it.
Pre-Algebra: Students took the FA over chapter 7. No homework
Geography: What I Eat: Around the world in 80 diets! Students were given a person from the unit and are to present information to the class. We also viewed and sampled a MRE. I am still missing a few 7 Wonder iMovies. Ask your student if they have theirs turned in. They would be able to show you their movie on Moodle.

Geography: Iditarod race information article and class discussion about the tundra climate. No homework.
English: Descriptive Writing. Today, we are writing rough drafts. The kids have the entire period to write their rough draft like they will next week for the writing assessment. If they don't finish, it needs to be completed for tomorrow!
