Math:   Students continued with lesson 17.  Students are to complete page 99 using the worksheet we filled out in class.  Students will need their Chromebook 11/20, 11/22 and 11/25.  The spelling quiz will be this Friday, 11/22.  The assessment test will next Monday, 11/25.

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished the J+TL worksheet and went over the test. 

Science: Students completed lesson 1.2 from our new Phase Change unit, which introduced students to phase changes like: condensation, evaporation, melting, and freezing. The scientific argument for the Rock Transformations unit was due Monday, November 18th. Students CAN come in after school and work with Mrs. Eidem on improving their score on their argument, but the deadline to do so is Monday, November 25th by 4:00 p.m.

English:  We critiqued a practice research paper today. Research cites were identified and practiced with. Research was started. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term.

7th Period English:  Your research paper is due today, November 19th. Utopia definition was discussed. Partner activity work time today. ABC writing this week, letter "L". Keep working on A.R.

Geography:  Today students wrapped up the unit called Material World by comparing and contrasting different families from around the world (Haiti and United States). Looking ahead- We will be starting Africa on Wednesday with creating a physical and political map. The maps will be due on Tuesday, November 26th for 50 points.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
