Math:   Students took the assessment over lessons 1 - 5.  No homework
Pre-Algebra:    Students took the assessment over adding integers. No homework.

Science: Students finished Unit 2 (Plate Motion) Lesson 1.2. We also completed Unit 2 Lesson 1.3 to learn that Earth's plate boundaries are sites of high earthquake activity.  Students who are not happy with their scientific argument score or their Unit 1 test score have until Wednesday Sept. 11th 4:00 p.m. to see Mrs. Eidem and work on improvements.  

English:  Students learned about demonstrative, interrogative, indefinite pronouns. Students have a short assignment on google classroom. They may redo the assignment as many times to get a 100% until it is due (Monday morning at 8 AM). If students didn't do well on their TDA quiz, they may come in Friday during lunch to earn points back on their quiz. AR is due October 15th.

Geography:  We started our new unit today called Parts of a Map. The test for this unit will be September 17th. No homework and have a great weekend!

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
