THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! The dance we held Friday night was a huge success. We earned enough money to mount TWO, yes TWO projectors in our team area. Thank you for your support and allowing your student to attend. There were more 7-4 students there than from any other team.
Science –Finished acting out our cell skits. Also we put together our cell models. Wed's class is in science lab 113, we will take the cell quiz.
Math - The Birth Announcement project was due today. I will accept late projects. We continued discussing estimation and took a KPS assessment over dividing decimals. No homework.
Pre-Algebra - The Birth Announcement project was due today. I will accept late projects. Students worked on review problems getting ready for the Chapter 1 Test Thursday.
English -- Today we began drafting our narrative writing. Tonight, use four during-reading strategies while reading your AR book. You need to have half of your points for progress reports by Thursday.
GEOGRAPHY – Today we did a follow-up worksheet using directions with the HMS map and the map of Kearney. Then we moved into the introductions of Latitude and Longitude! Some classes may have 4 vocabulary words to look up using their Geography books for homework.
