Math:   Students took a mult fact quiz and went over lessons 2 and 3.  For lesson 2, do 2, 3, & 4.  For lesson 3, do 1, 2, 3.  Students will take an assessment on Friday over lessons 1 - 4.  You will need your chromebook.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the homework and then finished Lesson 4 and possibly lesson 5.  Students may have homework.  Students will take an assessment on Friday over lessons 1 - 6.  You will need your chromebook.

Science: Students with the best TsunamiAlert Warning System were recognized. Then we watched a Smithsonian documentary about the Asian tsunami of 2004. Your 5-paragraph proposal needs to be turned in via Google Classroom by Friday, October 25 by 4:00 pm.

English:  We continued sentence structure. Complex Sentences. Notes to get. Google Classroom Homework Complex Sentences 3. Get started on your A.R. points for the next term.

7th Period English:  Commas in sentence structure finished today. We took notes. Google Classroom Homework; Commas 1. ABC writing this week, letter "H". A.R. reading points have been assigned for next quarter.

Geography:  Today we continued taking notes over World Population (Developed vs Developing countries) and looking at statistics. Looking ahead- Population, Developed vs. Developed Countries and Culture Traits Test is on October 31st.

7th Period English:  Sentence structure test today. ABC writing this week, letter "G". ABC letter drawn today for rubric grading by Mrs. Davidson. "D" A.R. reading points have been assigned for next quarter.


Geography:  Today we discussed the test from yesterday, watched a Planet Earth II episode over a landform, and discussed what is upcoming. Looking ahead- Our next unit deals with world population.

English:  We took the test on the Rikki Tikki Tavi story today. Study Guide questions were checked for completion and handed in. Get started on your A.R. points for the next term.

7th Period English:  Sentence structure review today. Google Homework C.S. #4 was handed in today. Study Guides worked on and discussed. We will take the test tomorrow in class. ABC writing this week, letter "G". ABC letter drawn today for rubric grading by Mrs. Davidson.

Math:   Students went over lesson 17.  Students may have some problems from the problem set as homework.  Have all problem set problems on pages 85 and 86 done for tomorrow.  The spelling quiz is Friday.  The word search is due Friday. 

Pre-Algebra:    Students finished lesson 17 and jumped into lesson 18.  Students may have some problems from the problem set as homework.  The spelling quiz is Friday.  The word search is due Friday. 

Science: Students completed lesson 4.3 for Unit 2 (Plate Motion). The Unit 2 test is planned for tomorrow, October 4th. There is a Quizlet on Google Classroom to aid in studying. If you haven't completed your scientific argument for Plate Motion (found on Google Classroom and worked on during class on Monday), complete it by Friday. 

English:  We reviewed how to use adverbs as a class. Notes were taken on prepositions. Google Classroom Homework Prepositions 1 on the computer. AR is due October 15th.

Geography:  Today continued playing the game called Where's the Buried Treasure? They used Latitude and Longitude to find locations on a map. Looking ahead- Quiz over Latitude and Longitude is set for October 4th (Friday). Study guide has been handed out and notes are on Google Classroom.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

Math:   Students took an 11 mult fact quiz and then practiced spelling the vocab words.  The spelling quiz is Friday.  The word search is due Friday.  We then went over lesson 16.  No homework.
