Math: Students turned in their operations packet and were assigned a Chapter 2 Review packet as well as the Chapter 2 RTGO problems on page 102. Students had the entire period to work on these and they will be due tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students turned in lesson 6-1 homework and then were given a worksheet dealing with lesson 6-1 as well as assigned problems 1 – 20 and 26 – 31 on page 279. Both are due tomorrow.

Geography: Today we took the class time to study for the Canada TEST tomorrow Jan. 25th! We study with a Jeopardy game. HOMEWORK: Things for students to do at home tonight will be to get on Moodle and take a (2) practice quizzes, look at the jeopardy games that we played, and study notes, maps, and vocab. Hard copies are also available for students to pick up and take home and study!

Math: We graded 7-9 & 7-10, took an oral mult fact quiz and took the quiz over lesson 7-6 - 7-10. THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT IS DUE MONDAY.

Geography: Continuing Chapter 5-Canada. Continuing Passports, wrote a few test review questions to help study for the test, and filled out a pre-test evaluation. Homework this weekend could be to start studying for the Chapter 5 Canada Test-Tuesday Jan. 25th. Retakes over Canada Quiz need to be retaken by Friday the 21st-TODAY! (69% or lower qualifies)

Science: Worked on the computer simulations on how predator affect prey. Monday meet in computer lab 119, to finish the Adaptations Evaluation.
Geography: Chapter 5 Test over Political Physical Maps and Sec 1 Vocab. NO HOMEWORK and have a great weekend.

Math: We did a quick review and then took a TIZ over lessons 7-1 - 7-5 and then took a GST if time allowed. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: We finished up 5-3. We then covered 5-4 and assigned the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Worked in the computer lab on ecosystems and the flow of energy.
Geography: Chapter 5- finished notes Sec 1 over Canada. We also took some time to study, but students need to continue to study at home tonight. Maps test over political and physical maps and sec 1 vocab FRIDAY!! Homework all this week is to study vocabulary sec 1, political and physical maps. There are a few helpful tools on Moodle to help the students study.

Math: We graded lesson 7-4 and worked through lesson 7-5 and it's homework. For practice before tomorrow's quiz over 7-1 - 7-5 by doing problems 1 - 12 on page 404. If the student feels he or she needs extra practice, complete those for tomorrow.

Science: Planned our next consumer experiment "What paper towel is the best buy?" Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that works on adaptations and classification. Monday's class is in science lab 113.
Geography: Chapter 5 Canada Physical and Political Map work. Homework tonight is any map work that did not get done in class today. Students can come in and check out a red atlas. All maps will be due Monday at the beginning of class.

English: Discussed inferences and theme in class. HOMEWORK: Went over "Ribbons" worksheet, handed in spelling sentences #11 and took test over #11.
Geography: Introduction to Chapter 5-CANADA. Introduction video and worksheet. No homework. Students do not need their textbooks until January 10th.
English: Review of parts of speech from first semester. Begin reading AR books for March deadline. Bring Grammar books tomorrow.
