A BIG "SORRY!" GOES OUT TO 7-4 MEMBERS WHO CHECK OUR BLOG. LAST FRIDAY, KPS WAS TRYING OUT A NEW FILTER AND OUR BLOG WAS BLOCKED, THUS WE COULD NOT UPDATE IT.
Math: Students went over lessons 8-7 & 8-8. Complete the practice for tomorrow. We will have a quiz over lessons 8-5 - 8-8 tomorrow (Tuesday) and a QUEST over lessons 8-1 - 8-8 on Thursday.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lesson 8-9 and reviewed for the Chapter Test which will be Thursday.
Science: Complete antacid experiment from Friday. Begin Healthy Cells article.
Geography: Chapter 9-Andean Countries- Waging War on Drugs Discussion- pg 259. Homework: Chp 9 maps due Wed, April 20th. Any late or missing work.

Math: Students received a grade sheet in which they need to get a parent signature and return it by Wednesday. We then discussed "Pi Day" and student were given a NeSA packet. Complete the first 7 problems for tomorrow. We then reviewed lesson 5-1. Have problems 1 - 12 completed for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students celebrated Pi day by looking at the formulas involved. Students then received the NeSA packet and started working on it. Complete what Mr. SAnny said by tomorrow.

Math: Students took a GST mult fact quiz, went over lesson 4-2. We then spent some time getting math portfolios ready for STUDENT LED Parent Teacher Conferences. Students had time at the end of class and received a worksheet. Complete the problems Mr. Sanny stated in class.
Pre-Algebra: We took a GST, went over lesson 6-6, stuffed portfolios and received a worksheet. Have the problems stated by Mr. Sanny completed by Monday.
Science: "Circulatory System Guided Reading Lesson" packet due Monday.
Geography: Chapter 6-Mexico- Pol/Phy Map Quiz and Vocab sec 1 Quiz. Finished notes from sec 1 today also. No Homework!

Science: Finished the stations and our circulatory concepts sheet should be completely filled out with ALL CORRECT ANSWERS. Videos over current treatments to treat heart diseases.
HOMEWORK: TAKE YOUR 1 MINUTE RESTING PULSE RATE AND DRESS TO MOVE FOR MONDAY'S CLASS IN 113.

Geography: Today we took the class time to study for the Canada TEST tomorrow Jan. 25th! We study with a Jeopardy game. HOMEWORK: Things for students to do at home tonight will be to get on Moodle and take a (2) practice quizzes, look at the jeopardy games that we played, and study notes, maps, and vocab. Hard copies are also available for students to pick up and take home and study!

Math: We graded 7-9 & 7-10, took an oral mult fact quiz and took the quiz over lesson 7-6 - 7-10. THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT IS DUE MONDAY.
Pre-Algebra: We turned in the Chapter 5 review and took a "quest" over chapter 5. THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT IS DUE MONDAY.
Science: Finished the frog dissection, today the spleen,kidneys, tendons, and ligaments. Monday's class is in 113.
Geography: Continuing Chapter 5-Canada. Continuing Passports, wrote a few test review questions to help study for the test, and filled out a pre-test evaluation. Homework this weekend could be to start studying for the Chapter 5 Canada Test-Tuesday Jan. 25th. Retakes over Canada Quiz need to be retaken by Friday the 21st-TODAY! (69% or lower qualifies)

Math: We finished up lesson 7-8 and looked at lessons 7-9 & 7-10 and assigned some homework from those two lessons. Each class had different problems to complete depending on how much we got done in class. We will have a quiz over lessons 7-6 - 7-10 tomorrow.

Math: We turned in the 7-7 Homework, went the rest of the Birth Announcement calculations, took an oral multiplication fact quiz and started discussing lesson 7-8. No homework. There will be a quiz on Friday covering lessons 7-6 - 7-10.

Math: We took a GST mult fact quiz, made a new notebook for the 2nd term and then students were given the sheet that describes the Birth Announcement project. You can begin gathering information for it this weekend.
Pre-Algebra: We graded 5-4 and students worked on the Ready to Go on for lessons 5-1 - 5-4 have it completed by Monday. The Birth Announcement was discussed. Gather information this weekend.
Science: Worked on the computer simulations on how predator affect prey. Monday meet in computer lab 119, to finish the Adaptations Evaluation.
Geography: Chapter 5 Test over Political Physical Maps and Sec 1 Vocab. NO HOMEWORK and have a great weekend.
English: Keep notes on descriptive writing in folders. DL 18--5. We'll continue Monday with further work on the Introduction and the Body.

Math: We took a mult fact quiz, went over 7-2, and discussed bar graphs and histograms. Finish the packet for Monday if you didn't get done in class.
Pre-Algebra: We graded 5-2 and looked at getting the best deal when shopping. No homework.
Science: Planned our next consumer experiment "What paper towel is the best buy?" Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that works on adaptations and classification. Monday's class is in science lab 113.
Geography: Chapter 5 Canada Physical and Political Map work. Homework tonight is any map work that did not get done in class today. Students can come in and check out a red atlas. All maps will be due Monday at the beginning of class.
English: Worksheet C due in class (odds only) On simple sections indicate the pattern (sv, ssv, svv, or ssvv) Notes about compound sentences. DL's in. DL 18 handed out.

Science: Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that will work on adaptations and classification. Wednesday's class is in the Media Center.
English: Discussed inferences and theme in class. HOMEWORK: Went over "Ribbons" worksheet, handed in spelling sentences #11 and took test over #11.

The HSS packet will be due Friday, December 17 as well as all other zeroes need to be taken care of by then. Also, be working on your Term 2 Vocab Activities. Those are due Friday as well as the spelling quiz over those terms will be Friday.
