Math: Students turned in their grade sheet and then inputed the last problems from the NeSA packet. We went over the worksheet from 5-1 and 5-2 and finished up looking at the Mini Re-Quest from the other day.
Pre-Algebra: Students did more NeSA practice. No homework.
Science: Take Respiratory system quiz. Begin reading "Into Thin Air" article with questions.
Geography: Chapter 8-South America-Red Atlas Activity cont. No homework tonight. Options for Chapter 7 test retakes will happen Monday, March 28th!!
English: Preparing for Ne-SA Reading. Homework: Read your AR book over the break!

Math: Students turned in their grade sheet and then went over the first 11 problems from the NeSA packet. Complete the rest of the packet for tomorrow. Students were then given a worksheet over 5-1 and 5-2 which will be graded tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the last half of the packet and received another packet. Do what Mr. Sanny said for tomorrow.
Science: Did a station and Moodle quiz to review for Friday's respiratory system test. Study tonight by taking the Moodle quiz and reviewing your PINK review sheet.
Geography: Chapter 8-South America-Red Atlas Activity. No homework tonight.

Science: Answered the question, "How does the amount of oxygen affect how much energy we have?". Dress for outside and physical activity for class on Wednesday.
Geography: Chapter 7-Central America and the Caribbean. Whiteboard Challenger study game! Maps on Moodle, study guide, Whiteboard Challenger questions are all on Moodle-hard copies are also available in my room for pick-up. Homework= start studying-Maps, vocab, GRWS, take home textbook. Test over Chapter 7 is Wed, March 16th.

Math: Students received a grade sheet in which they need to get a parent signature and return it by Wednesday. We then discussed "Pi Day" and student were given a NeSA packet. Complete the first 7 problems for tomorrow. We then reviewed lesson 5-1. Have problems 1 - 12 completed for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students celebrated Pi day by looking at the formulas involved. Students then received the NeSA packet and started working on it. Complete what Mr. SAnny said by tomorrow.

Math: Students went over the Chapter 4 Test and the 6-1 homework. We then went over lesson 6-2 and assigned the homework from that lesson. Don't forget to work on the Vocab Activities which are due Thursday. We will have a quiz Thursday over 6-1, 6-2 & 6-3.

Pre-Algebra: We went over the quiz, then began REVIEW WEEK. We will have different activities each day reviewing some of the important concepts from days gone by. Students will more than likely have homework each day.
Science: Took the Moodle practice Circulatory system quiz. Take this at home. Test over the circulatory system is Tuesday.
Geography: Chapter 6-Mexico- Sec 2-History of Mexico, Station Day 2! Homework: Throughout the station activities students will have homework if they don't get through all the material in their stations during the period!

Math: Students took a GST mult fact quiz, went over lesson 4-2. We then spent some time getting math portfolios ready for STUDENT LED Parent Teacher Conferences. Students had time at the end of class and received a worksheet. Complete the problems Mr. Sanny stated in class.

Science: Finished the stations and our circulatory concepts sheet should be completely filled out with ALL CORRECT ANSWERS. Videos over current treatments to treat heart diseases.
HOMEWORK: TAKE YOUR 1 MINUTE RESTING PULSE RATE AND DRESS TO MOVE FOR MONDAY'S CLASS IN 113.

Math: Students turned in their operations packet and were assigned a Chapter 2 Review packet as well as the Chapter 2 RTGO problems on page 102. Students had the entire period to work on these and they will be due tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students turned in lesson 6-1 homework and then were given a worksheet dealing with lesson 6-1 as well as assigned problems 1 – 20 and 26 – 31 on page 279. Both are due tomorrow.

Math: We graded 7-9 & 7-10, took an oral mult fact quiz and took the quiz over lesson 7-6 - 7-10. THE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT IS DUE MONDAY.

Math: We finished up lesson 7-8 and looked at lessons 7-9 & 7-10 and assigned some homework from those two lessons. Each class had different problems to complete depending on how much we got done in class. We will have a quiz over lessons 7-6 - 7-10 tomorrow.

Science: Worked on the computer simulations on how predator affect prey. Monday meet in computer lab 119, to finish the Adaptations Evaluation.
Geography: Chapter 5 Test over Political Physical Maps and Sec 1 Vocab. NO HOMEWORK and have a great weekend.
English: Keep notes on descriptive writing in folders. DL 18--5. We'll continue Monday with further work on the Introduction and the Body.

Math: We graded lesson 7-4 and worked through lesson 7-5 and it's homework. For practice before tomorrow's quiz over 7-1 - 7-5 by doing problems 1 - 12 on page 404. If the student feels he or she needs extra practice, complete those for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: We continued covering 5-3. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Planned our next consumer experiment "What paper towel is the best buy?" Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that works on adaptations and classification. Monday's class is in science lab 113.
Geography: Chapter 5- Finished up that Guided Reading WS, Studied our maps, started notes Sec 1 over Canada. Maps test over political and physical maps FRIDAY!! Homework all this week is to study vocabulary sec 1, political and physical maps.

Math: We graded the hands on lab packet then went over lesson 7-4 and assigned the homework from that lesson, it will be due tomorrow. We will have a quiz over 7-4 - 7-5 on Thursday.

Science: Planned our next consumer experiment "What paper towel is the best buy?" Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that works on adaptations and classification. Monday's class is in science lab 113.

Science: Planned our next consumer experiment "What paper towel is the best buy?" Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that works on adaptations and classification. Monday's class is in science lab 113.
Geography: Chapter 5 Canada Physical and Political Map work. Homework tonight is any map work that did not get done in class today. Students can come in and check out a red atlas. All maps will be due Monday at the beginning of class.

Science: Worked on on our project, "Animal Adaptations", that will work on adaptations and classification. Wednesday's class is in the Media Center.
English: Discussed inferences and theme in class. HOMEWORK: Went over "Ribbons" worksheet, handed in spelling sentences #11 and took test over #11.
Geography: Introduction to Chapter 5-CANADA. Introduction video and worksheet. No homework. Students do not need their textbooks until January 10th.
English: Review of parts of speech from first semester. Begin reading AR books for March deadline. Bring Grammar books tomorrow.

The HSS packet will be due Friday, December 17 as well as all other zeroes need to be taken care of by then. Also, be working on your Term 2 Vocab Activities. Those are due Friday as well as the spelling quiz over those terms will be Friday.

Math: We took a grande soft taco multiplication fact quiz, graded lesson 3-10 reviewed for tomorrow's quiz. No homework, study for quiz!
Pre-Algebra: We went over lesson 12-1 and worked on the homework in class. No homework if they got it done.
Science:Did the Moodle disease review. Disease test is tomorrow, study your notes/activities tonight. Science current summaries are due!
English: Reviewed adverbs in class. Homework: Students received the study guide over adjectives and adverbs. They will have five to ten minutes to work tomorrow. We will check these in class. The adjective/adverb test will be on Friday, December 3rd.
Geography: Chp 3-Culture= Material World. 3-Mali and 4-Kuwait. Students do not have homework tonight.

Pre-Algebra: We went over questions from the Ready to Go On problems. Students then took a quiz over 11-1 - 11-3.
Science: Completed the disease scavenger hunt. Science current event summaries are due Wednesday. Wednesday's class is in the computer lab 119.
English: Adverbs in class. Homework: Page 355 - Exercise 24 (1-10) and worksheet 16.2 side 1 due tomorrow. Spelling sentences due tomorrow. Spelling test will also be tomorrow.
Geography: Chp 3-Culture= Material World Culture= Similarities and Differences. Students WILL HAVE homework tonight if they didn't get finished in class.

Science: Played the "healthy habits game.
English: Published disease reports in class. Homework: Disease reports due at 4:00 on Tuesday. Spelling sentences due Wednesday, December 1.

Math: We continued the final day of the Million Calorie Food Drive today. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated items. Students turned in the first part of Lesson 3-6. The 2nd line of 3-6 homework is due Monday. (some got it done in class).
Pre-Algebra: We spent time talking about the food drive and then graded the problems from 11-1. If time allowed, we went over lesson 11-2. No homework.
Science: Continued learning about the immune system by doing skits on allergies and antibiotics. Also how to strengthen the immune system.
English: Revised and edited rough drafts in class. Homework: Revisions and edits due Monday.
Geography: Chp 3_CULTURE!!! Eight Traits of Culture activity. No homework if your Climate Posters are done. Climate Posters are due Friday, November 19th, TODAY!!

Science:Last day to do research for your disease.
English: Reviewed adverbs in class and began introduction paragraph of disease report. Homework: Complete worksheet 16.2 for tomorrow. Spelling test tomorrow in class.

Math: Students talked about the Million Calorie Food Drive and finished up lesson 2-10. They are to complete the rest of the problems listed on the pink sheet.
Pre-Algebra: Students covered lesson 3-4 and were assigned the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Why aren't we always sick?
English: We reviewed adjectives in class. Homework: Spelling sentences are due Tuesday, November 16. Spelling test next Wednesday.

Math: Students went over lesson 2-9 and then practice converting Fraction to a decimal. For homework, just do 14 - 25 from lesson 2-10.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over their packet, worked on the Ready to Go On problems and looked at some problem solving problems in the book. No homework.

Math: Students were told about the MCFD which starts next week and were asked to bring in store ads for a project that kicks off in December. They know the details. We then went over 2-9 and assigned homework from the new, pink homework sheet. It will be due tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over more examples from lesson 3-3 and received a worksheet they need to complete for tomorrow.
Science: Went over the bacteria experiments. Family health history due today.
English: We went over adjectives in class. Homework: Worksheet 16.1 is due tomorrow.
Geography: Chp 2 sec 1 read, sec 1 quiz as a worksheet, water cycle worksheet. No homework.

Math: Students went to the computer lab and worked on activities from the textbook website (my.hrw.com). Students were given a new username and password to access this site. If they didn't finish the activities, they can complete them this weekend. YOU MUST RETURN THE BLUE SHEET ON MONDAY!!

Geography: Study day in Geography over Chapter 1. Jeopardy games are on Moodle for the students to go home and study. Students can also ask for a hard copy of the game. Test over Chapter is tomorrow-Thursday. Homework tonight is to study.

Math: Students were shown their updated grades, we went over 2-6 and were assigned problems 1 - 16, 18 & 20 for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students took a KPS assessment over graphing and then started 3-3, no homework.
Science: Family tree homework assignment due November 8th. Science current event summaries due Wednesday. Continued the mysterious activity on infectious diseases.
English: Students learned how to visit Moodle and the textbook website in class. Students have a letter on how to log in. Students have the option to complete review exercises to prepare for the test on Wednesday. We also learned the Principal Parts of Irregular Verbs. HOMEWORK: Verb test Wednesday. Spelling test and spelling worksheet due Thursday.
