Math: Students took an 11 fact quiz and then reviewed lessons 11 - 13 and jumped into Lesson 14. Complete #1 on page 83 for tomorrow. An assessment over Lessons 11 - 16 will be Tuesday, November 20.
Pre-Algebra: Students finished up Lesson 8. Students may have homework.
Science: Students learned about DNA mutations and we discussed what the DNA to Protein packet taught us. There will be a test over DNA tomorrow, November 16th. Study using the practice test on Google Classroom or the Quizlet linked on Google Classroom.
English: Students turned in their Sherlock Holmes worksheet. We started our debates. No homework! AR is due on December 17th.
7th Period English: Students learned about Utopias and started creating their own. Utopias will be presented on Monday. Final drafts of research papers are due on Friday, November 16th. "J" Is due on Friday. AR is due on December 17th.
Geography: Today we continued to work on Material World. We will look at families from 12 countries to compare and contrast demographics, governments, and material possessions. They will need these note packets every day along with their climate map. This packet will be taken for a 50 point test grade at the completion of the unit- 11/20. They are given class time to work on it every day. Please encourage them to use their time wisely in class and follow along.
**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.
