Math: Students were introduced to San Man Dollars and then went over the homework. Kids then worked with a partner on a worksheet in preparation for the quizzes over lessons 1-9, 1-10 and 1-11 tomorrow. There will be a "show your work" part and a formative assessment part. Study for your test!
Pre-Algebra: Students went over lessons 1-8 and 1-9, we then discussed lesson 1-10. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Students analyzed results and drew conclusions from Friday's experiment to answer the question: What will happen to the mass of a potato slice if it is soaked in salt water? Each lab group worked on designing their own experiment to further study osmosis. Don't forget to bring any necessary materials you will need to complete your experiment tomorrow!
English: Students had class time to type their narrative essays. The essay is due today at 4:00pm.
Geography: Students wrapped up the Map Quest project, compared results, and handed in. No homework.
