Paperwork for PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES went home with students today. Return the papers as soon as possible.
Math:
Students went over the Formative Assessments from last week, went over lesson 1-9 and are to complete the problems from that lesson for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students began learning how to add integers. Ask your student how to add positive and negative numbers quickly in their head. Complete the homework for lesson 1-5 for tomorrow.
Geography: Latitude and Longitude Unit. Notes and definitions today. No homework.
English: Noun Unit. The students were given a noun worksheet packet. Begin reading "Riki Tiki Tavi" and discuss plot.
Science: Work day #1 for the Cell Analogy Project. Students were given a directions sheet on Friday. Here is how to log on to their kearney cats account:
(1) docs.kearneycats.com/ (2) username = first 3 letters of first name
then entire last name (3) password = first and last initials, number
sign, lunch number (ex: ja#12345). Students are using "google presentation". Students will be given Tuesday and Wednesday in class to finish this project.
