Science -Started the unit on classification, found out what we already knew and took book notes.
Math - Students took a practice spelling quiz. The graded one will be Fiday. We then reviewed how to convert between fractions, decimals and percents and students took the KPS Assessment.
English -- In class students reviewed for the test over compound sentences. Study for Friday's test. Continue reading for 3rd quarter. Half of this quarter's points are due February 8th.
GEOGRAPHY - Discussed the connection between music and culture. Analyzed two songs for cultural meaning and social commentary- Southern Man v. Sweet Home Alabama
