Math:   We went over the quiz 3B and then learned how to estimate the addition and subtraction of fractions and mixed numbers.  Do the top line of your new homework paper for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:  Students jumped into chapter 11.  Complete 11-1 for tomorrow.

Science:  Students finished working on their cell cycle animation project.  Projects will be shared with your peers tomorrow in class.  Students have received a practice test for our upcoming test over the cell life cycle.  This test will be Thursday, November 10th.  Fill out your practice test and use it to study. 

English: Students reviewed capitalization and punctuation. They have a test tomorrow. Please study your study guide! AR is due December 19th.

7th Period English: Students reviewed sentence structure. They have a test tomorrow. Please study your study guide! AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students reviewed World Religions, World Governments, and started to take notes on World Economic systems. No homework. Current event was due Oct 31st- MONDAY. A late grade will be assigned.

Math:   Students worked on IXL problems.  No homework if you get done with the 7th grade level:  L.2, L.3, F.1, F.5, F.7 and F.9.

Pre-Algebra:  Students worked on IXL problems.  No homework if you get done with the 8th grade level: W.9, W.10, N.2 and N.3.

Math:   Students went over current grades, compared fractions, looked at solving equations and used investigative skills to solve a problem.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:  Students took the Chapter 3 Formative assessment.

Science:  Students worked on their cell cycle animation project.  Students have received a practice test for our upcoming test over the cell life cycle.  This test will be Thursday, November 10th.  Fill out your practice test and use it to study.

Math:   Students did a quick review and then took the formative assessment over lessons 2-5, 12-1 - 12-6.

Math:   Students went over Week 1 Vocab Activities.  They are due Friday, October 21st.  Kids then worked on IXL.  Complete grade 7, activities C1, C3 and C6.

Pre-Algebra:  Students went over Week 1 Vocab Activities.  They are due Friday, October 21st.  Kids then worked on IXL.  Complete grade 8, activities W7 and W8, maybe W9

Science:  Students performed a lab to answer the question: "Will yeast make more CO2 if given syrup?"  There will be a test over cellular respiration next Friday, October 21st.  A study guide is available on Google Classroom.  A paper copy will be handed out on Monday. 

English:  Students learned about prepositions and received a small homework assignment. AR is due on October 19th. Please be reading!

Geography:    Today students worked on a textbook Landform exploration worksheet in class. Homework for the weekend is to finish the Google Street View assignment if it isn't finished. The Current Event assignment is due October 31st.

Math:   Students had a quick review and then took the FA over lessons 2-1 - 2-4.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 2-5 and jumped into 2-6.   Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students finished notes on cellular respiration.  We also began talking about tomorrow's lab.  No homework.

Math:   Students took a mult fact quiz, went over lesson 2-4 and then reviewed for the FA which is tomorrow over lessons 2-1 - 2-4.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the packet and jumped into 2-5.   Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students began learning about cellular respiration and took some notes.  No homework.
