Science: Manipulated variables so see what affects digestion of starch.
Geography: Chapter 9-Andean Countries- Waging War on Drugs Worksheet-Students should get this done in class. Textbooks all week. Homework: Ticket in/Closure activity. Chp 9 maps due Wed, April 20th. Any late or missing work.
English: The Outsiders. Homework: Read chapter 4 and write two questions over the reading using the Q-chart. Quiz over chapters 3 and 4 and spelling test will be tomorrow.

A BIG "SORRY!" GOES OUT TO 7-4 MEMBERS WHO CHECK OUR BLOG. LAST FRIDAY, KPS WAS TRYING OUT A NEW FILTER AND OUR BLOG WAS BLOCKED, THUS WE COULD NOT UPDATE IT.
Math: Students went over lessons 8-7 & 8-8. Complete the practice for tomorrow. We will have a quiz over lessons 8-5 - 8-8 tomorrow (Tuesday) and a QUEST over lessons 8-1 - 8-8 on Thursday.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lesson 8-9 and reviewed for the Chapter Test which will be Thursday.
Science: Complete antacid experiment from Friday. Begin Healthy Cells article.

Math: Students turned in their grade sheet. Return it tomorrow. We then discussed the test from Friday and how to use Pi to find circumference and area. Complete the next 4 problems from the packet (1 - 11 should be completed for tomorrow).
Pre-Algebra: Students reviewed Pi and went over the packet. Complete the next few problems.
Science: Answered the question, "How does the amount of oxygen affect how much energy we have?". Dress for outside and physical activity for class on Wednesday.
Geography: Chapter 7-Central America and the Caribbean. Whiteboard Challenger study game! Maps on Moodle, study guide, Whiteboard Challenger questions are all on Moodle-hard copies are also available in my room for pick-up. Homework= start studying-Maps, vocab, GRWS, take home textbook. Test over Chapter 7 is Wed, March 16th.
