Math: Students turned in their worksheets and discussed the Holiday Shopping Spree. Students were given a writing assignment to start thinking about who and what they want to purchase with their 500 (fake) dollars. The writing assignment is due Monday.

English: We looked over Expository papers in class. Students do have the opportunity to make corrections to raise their grades. Homework: Four completed boxes from the Think Dots are due Monday. Punctuation quiz on Monday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: Group work today comparing and contrasting countries that we have studied so far. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week!

Math: Students discussed how to get a job, reviewed how to multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers and had a worksheet to complete for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded the multiplying and dividing fractions worksheet and discussed divisibility and factors - lesson 4-1.
Science: Finished the immune system skits.
English: Punctuation Featured Films on how to use commas and numbers. Quiz over Featured Films on Monday. Homework: WRITE #5 due Friday and Spelling Test #3 on Friday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: Group work today comparing and contrasting countries that we have studied so far. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week!

Math: Students graded their worksheets, recapped the MCFD - 1.2 million calories collected by Team Sanny!! reviewed solving equations and took a quiz.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the MCFD - outstanding job! We also went over problems from the AMC test. No homework.
Science: Finished the "Poisoned Picnic" lesson. Class this week is in 208.
English: Wrote letters to 1195th Guard Unit and completed punctuation pretest in class. Homework: Expository paper due by 4:00 today. Read AR books!
Geography: We conintued with the unit called Material World. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week and have a great break!

English: Revised and edited disease reports in class. Homework: Students must have an adult revise, edit, and sign their paper for class tomorrow. WRITE #4 due Friday and Spelling Test #2 will be on Monday, November 23.
