Math: Students took a mult fact quiz, went over the equations quiz from last week and took a Fractions Readiness Assessment.
Pre-Algebra: Students took a mult fact quiz, a GST quiz and took a Fractions Readiness Assessment.
Science: Learned how viruses make us sick, by viewing 3 videos and doing a short skit. Science current event article due Wednesday.
English: Punctuation Featured Films. Homework: WRITE #5 due Friday and Spelling Test #3 on Friday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: We continued with the unit called Material World. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week and have a great break!

Math: Students graded their worksheets, recapped the MCFD - 1.2 million calories collected by Team Sanny!! reviewed solving equations and took a quiz.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the MCFD - outstanding job! We also went over problems from the AMC test. No homework.
Science: Finished the "Poisoned Picnic" lesson. Class this week is in 208.
English: Wrote letters to 1195th Guard Unit and completed punctuation pretest in class. Homework: Expository paper due by 4:00 today. Read AR books!

Sorry about not sending out a blog last Thursday. Mr. Sanny was gone and his computer was not cooperating with the other teachers.
Math: Students learned the Chapter 3 Test will be this Friday, the Million Calorie Food Drive starts next week, a new Online Quiz has been added and students will be paid San Man Dollars if they take them by Friday and Mr. Sanny asked students to bring in store ads for a project that starts in December. We then went over lesson 3-7 and assigned the homework from that lesson.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lessons 3-4 and 3-5 and covered 3-6. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Set up the bacteria experiments. Have your disease picked for your report that you will do the research on during your Englis class. Family tree homework-due November 13th.
English: Began Expository paper. Homework: Complete KW of KWL for tomorrow. Spelling Test on Friday and WRITE #3 due Friday.
Geography: Climate poster worksheet and we started on the climate poster activity. Climate posters are due Friday by 4:00pm. Re-takes on Chapter 1 test (below 70%) can be retaken until Thursday. No homework.

Math: Students to a GST mult fact quiz (the last one to not be graded) and looked at how to solve equations involving addition and subtraction. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on lesson 3-4 and 3-5. No homework.
Science: Received family tree homework-due November 13th.
English: Sentence fluency in class. Homework: Take home test due tomorrow at the beginning of class. WRITE #2 due tomorrow.
Geography: Today in class we went over the Desalination WS and started on Chap 2 Sec 2 vocab and a reading strategy worksheet. Students will have homework tonight over Section 2!

Science: Finished the background on diseases. Tuesday's science is in 113. Get on Moodle site for what you can do if you were absent.
English: Reviewed Sentence Structure in class. Homework: Finish the circled problems on the study guide for tomorrow. WRITE #2 due Thursday.
Geography: Chapter 2 Sec 1 Read, Vocab, and a Reading Strategy WS. No homework.

Math: Students went over the worksheet, took a new and improved "Grande Soft Taco" mult fact quiz, and played integer war. Students were also shown how to log on to the KPS website to access math activities. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students took yet another "Grande Soft Taco" Multiplication Fact quiz and finished up work with lesson 3-1 & 3-2 and then played integer war. Students were also shown how to log on to the KPS website to access math activities. No homework.
Science: Started the disease unit today. Monday's science is in 113.
English: WRITE #1 was due and students had time to finish the tic-tac-write activity in class. Read your AR book this weekend! The test will be next week.
Geography: Chapter 1 test. Have a safe and fun Halloween! No homework.

Science: Finished the video/discussion on GENETIC ENGINEERING. These sites are on my Moodle site. Friday's science is in 113.

Math: Students graded the math tool box and covered Pawzies vs Neggies and were assigned problems from 3-3.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the Chapter 2 Test, took a new "Grande Soft Taco" Multiplication Fact quiz and were given time to finish the Skills you need for Chapter 3.
Science: Started watching the video on genetic engineering. Wednesday's class is in computer 119.
English: Simple sentences in class. Homework: Exceptions to the rule worksheet due tomorrow. 2nd Quarter AR Goal slips due Wednesday. WRITE #1 due Friday.
Geography: Notes and discussion today in class. No homework. Vocab test over sec 3 is Wednesday. Chapter 1; section 1-3 TEST is Friday.
