We will resume testing todayday and have will have 3rd and 9th period classes as normal. On Tuesday, we will have 6th period class during 3rd and 7th period during 9th. We will be back to normal schedule on Wednesday.
Math: Students went over their homework from lesson 1-4. Students took a practice multiplication fact quiz and were assigned the problems from lesson 1-5 which will be due Wednesday.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over their 1-3 homework. We also went over lesson 1-4. The homework will be due Wednesday.
Science: Did our testable question experiments for periods 3 and 9. No core classes during periods 6 and 7, due to MAPS testing. Your science current event summary is due Wednesday September 2nd.
English: Today we learned about personal and demonstrative pronouns. Homework is page 309 Exercises 18 and 19 due Wednesday. Study guides were handed out today for the Noun and Pronoun test on Thursday.
Geography: Went over tests. Started Parts of a Map Unit. No homework.

Math: Students went over the homework and watched a powerpoint that taught them how to head a paper. No Homework.
Science: Continued the mystery activity, Monday's class is in the media center.
English: We checked out textbooks, completed a Tic-Tac-Toe writing activity, and reviewed class expectations by playing Jeopardy. The only homework over the weekend is to read AR books. Have a wonderful weekend!
Geography: Today we took a Pre-test over locating continents and oceans (wasn't graded). We also went over some geography related current events. No homework and have a great weekend.

Science-Went over the experiment on "how practice affect performance?." Took the nervous system test.
Math - Students went over how to graph 2 variable equations and watched a video that reviewed fractions.
Pre-Algebra - Students went over more sine, cosine and tangent and worked on another worksheet.
English - Today students wrote a paragraph recommending the book or the movie. It was collected at the end of class. Students can come in after school to finish if they didn't get done. Book points are due on Monday, May 18th.
GEOGRAPHY - Handed in textbooks and reviewed the states and capital by playing a game!!!

Science-Went over the experiment on "how practice affect performance?." Took the nervous system test.
Math - Students went over how to graph 2 variable equations and watched a video that reviewed fractions.
Pre-Algebra - Students went over more sine, cosine and tangent and worked on another worksheet.
English - Today students wrote a paragraph recommending the book or the movie. It was collected at the end of class. Students can come in after school to finish if they didn't get done. Book points are due on Monday, May 18th.
GEOGRAPHY - Handed in textbooks and reviewed the states and capital by playing a game!!!

Science-Went over the experiment on "how practice affect performance?." Also reviewed for the nervous system test which will be Monday.
Math - Students took a mult fact quiz and looked at how to graph ordered pairs on a coordinate plane. Student were given time to complete a worksheet which will be due Monday. (most finished in class)
Pre-Algebra - Students went over sine, cosine and tangent and worked on a worksheet. If they didn't finish in class, it is due Monday.
English - Today students wrote a paragraph recommending the book or the movie. It was collected at the end of class. Students can come in after school to finish if they didn't get done. Book points are due on Monday, May 18th.

Science-Nervous System Research Articles, check with Mr.Sughroue when you return.
Math - Students were given a set of worksheets and are to finish all activities in the rock band packet. Both are due tomorrow. Students were given the entire class period to work on these, so there shouldn't be too much homework.
Pre-Algebra - Students were given a wkst packet to complete for tomorrow. They had the entire class period to complete them, so hopefully they won't have much homework.
English - Today students continued The Outsiders movie. Book points are due on Monday, May 18th.
GEOGRAPHY - Today we studied for the test; played White Board Challenger. Test over Chapter 7 is Thursday, May 14th. Homework tonight is to study for the TEST tomorrow. I recommend taking home your textbook tonight. Students can come in tonight and get a copy of all the questions from the White Board Challenger.

English - Today students took a KPS assessment and continued The Outsiders movie. Book points are due on Monday, May 18th.
GEOGRAPHY - Today we studied for the test; we covered maps and vocab today. We will study again tomorrow. Test over Chapter 7 is Thursday, May 14th. Homework tonight is to study maps and vocab. I recommend taking home your textbook the next two nights.

Math - Students turned in the worksheet from yesterday. They were then given time to complete activities 8 - 11 from the rock band packet. No homework this weekend.
Pre-Algebra - Students went over the homework and worked on review worksheets. Ask your student if they have homework.
English - Today students continued book talks and began the test over The Outsiders. We will finish it on Monday. We will also start the movie on Monday. Be sure to have your permission form turned in to watch the movie.

Math - Students were given a worksheet to complete for tomorrow. Students also were given time to complete activities 5, 6 & 7 for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra - Students went over lessons 8-7 and 8-8 and have some problems to complete for tomorrow.
English - Today students continued book talks and continued the review over "The Outsiders". The review will conclude tomorrow, and we will also begin the test tomorrow. Book talks continue throughout the week, so be ready to present on the day you are scheduled.
