Math- Students turned in their Holiday Shopping Spree packet and figured how many presents are given in the 12 days of Christmas.

English - Students handed in their journals and practiced writing simple sentence formulas. A quiz over the formulas will be given tomorrow. Book points need to be finished by Thursday the 21st.

GEOGRAPHY: Went over chapter 2 tests, landform scavenger hunt.

Science- We will be in lab 113 Tuesday and Wednesday. Went over the answers to the chart reading activity to try and figure out how the people got food poisoning. December science current is due Tuesday 19th. Vaccine skits were planned today and we will do these skits Tuesday. KPS DISEASE TEST IS THURSDAY-received the written review for this test today.

Math- Students had one last day to work on the project. The final packet (project) will be due Tomorrow.

Science-We will be in lab 113 Monday. Did a chart reading activity to try and figure out how the people got food poisoning. December science current is due Tuesday 19th.

Math- Students had time to work on the project. The final packet (project) will be due Tuesday.

English - Students journaled and took notes over different simple sentence formulas. They practiced with the formulas and will go over the worksheet on Monday. Book points need to be finished by Thursday the 21st. Journals will be picked up on Monday. There will be a quiz over the simple sentence formulas on Tuesday.

Science-We will be in lab 113 all next week. Today we wrote up conclusions to our bacteria experiments and went over the activity with playing cards that taught us about immunity.

Math- Students discussed a Halloween Shopping Spree and were given the Teaching Percent Short Cuts homework. It is due Wednesday. Students were also given time to finish up their H.S.S. write up. It is due tomorrow.

English - Students journaled and took the KPS listening assessment. Book talks will continue during the week.

GEOGRAPHY: Worked on climate chart and created/presented climate skits.

Science-We will be in lab 113 all next week. Today we observed our bacteria experiments and did an activity with playing cards that taught us about immunity.

Math- Students continued the BIG Holiday Shopping Spree project with figuring percent of numbers in their head. We went over the % of a number problems and had time to work on the HSS write up. We will have more time Monday to work on and finish it, it will be due Tuesday.

English - Students gave book talks and took a quiz over "Christmas" and "A Christmas Wish". Book talks will continue during next week.

Science-We will be in lab 113 all week. Today we observed our bacteria experiments and found out the reasons why we aren't always sick, and learned how the immune system works.

Math- Students continued the BIG Holiday Shopping Spree project with figuring percent of numbers in their head. Finish what Mr. Sanny said to on the practice worksheet for tomorrow. Make sure you are working on the write up describing who and what you would like to buy. As of right now it is due Monday.

English - Students gave book talks and read "A Christmas Wish". Pre-reading activities were completed in class. Book talks will continue during the week.

GEOGRAPHY: Read p. 65 - 68 in the textbook. Discussed and wrote descriptions of high latitude, dry and highland climates.

Math- Students took a mult fact quiz and reviewed for a Quest (Quiz / Test) which is tomorrow over lessons 3-1 - 3-5.

English - Students journaled and went over compound subjects and compound verbs. A worksheet was assigned, and we will go over it tomorrow. Book talks will continue during the week.

Math- Students took a mult fact quiz and then practiced adding and subtracting integers using the Pawzie vs Neggie story. No homework.

English - Students journaled and reviewed for Wednesday's quiz over "Rikki Tikki" and "Three Skeleton Key". We also started notes over simple sentences. Grade sheets were given out in class. Book talk dates have been assigned and begin November 29th.

Math- Students counted calories for the million calorie food drive and discussed integers / absolute value and inequalities. Grades were given to the students two days ago. Zeroes need to be taken care of by next Tuesday.

English - In class students watched "Rikki Tikki Tavi" video to complete Venn diagram. Be sure to read 15 minutes in your blue dot book and complete the 4 reading strategies. Book talk dates have been assigned and begin November 29th.

GEOGRAPHY: Review and quiz over Chapter 2 Lesson 1. Students will then draw a diagram of the water cycle.
