Welcome to the Team 7-4 Daily Blog

Math:  Students were given a grade sheet if their grade is currently low.  Students then received a packet over lessons 8-1 - 8-3 and began working through it.  Depending on how kids work during class, it will be due either Thursday (3rd period) or Friday (6th & 7th).

Pre-Algebra:   Students jumped into Chapter 8 with lesson 8-1.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned about the classification of living things (Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species).  No homework.

English:  Students took a quiz over Ch. 1-2 in The Outsiders, and we had a lit. circle. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

7th Period English: Students read Ch. 3-4 and checked vocab in class. There will be a quiz tomorrow over Ch. 3-4 and vocab tomorrow. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

Geography:    Students were introduced to the idea of currency conversions. We practiced and looked at different currencies. This is an intro to our Family Vacations that we will start tomorrow.  No homework.

Geography:    Students took the Asia test and were reminded to hand in their Asia Textbook Worksheet (due during class today).  No homework and enjoy the weekend!

7th Period English:  Students read chapter 2 of the Outsiders in class.   Students took a quiz over Chapters 1 and 2.  AR is due May 12.

Geography:    Students reviewed for the Asia test.  Students need to study tonight and complete the Asia textbook worksheet (due tomorrow during class) that was assigned earlier this week.

Math:  Students turned in the Term 3 Vocab Activities and took the spelling quiz over the words.  Mr. Sanny then showed the kids how to do the newest multiplication fact quiz, called the Grande Soft Taco (GST).

Science:  Students learned about the male reproductive system.  There will be a test Friday over the body systems.  A practice test has been handed out.  Study!

English:  Students debriefed the Outsiders Olympics and did a short writing assignment that's due on April 12th. AR is due on May 12th.

Math:  Students worked on reviewing for the NeSA tests by taking the NeSA practice 3 and 4 in google classroom.  Vocab Activities are due TOMORROW.  We will be taking the quiz over the words TOMORROW.

Pre-Algebra:   Students worked on the NeSA practice tests 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Finish them by Friday at 4 pm.

Math:  Students worked on reviewing for the NeSA tests which will be next week.  Students have homework if they didn't get done what they needed to in class.  Vocab Activities are due Wednesday.  We will be taking the quiz over the words on Wednesday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the Vocab Spelling Quiz and then reviewed for the NeSA tests.  Students have homework if they didn't get done what they needed to in class.

Science:  Students learned about their integumentary system (skin).  There will be a test Friday over the body systems.  A practice test has been handed out.  Study!

English:  Students learned about the 60s and The Outsiders. TDA's are due tomorrow at 4pm.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students started reading Ch. 1 for the Outsiders. They received a vocabulary worksheet that they can start working.  AR is due on May 12th.

Math:  Students went over 6-3/6-4 and took a Plicker Quiz to check for understanding.  Students then also learned what to do for the Term 3 Vocabulary Activities.  They are due by next Wednesday.  For homework, do 1 - 9 from lesson 6-5.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued reviewing for the Chapter 7 formative assessment, which is tomorrow.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

English:  Students worked on their outlines for their TDA.  AR is due on May 12th.

Math:  Students did a quick review and then kids took the FA over lessons 5-1, 5-2 and 5-3.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students graded  lesson 7-7.   They then had time to work on the ready to go on problems on pages 358 and 376.

Science:  Students took the test over bone and muscle naming.  Study!

English:  Students did a some more text-evidence practice in class. Students' Snake Text-structure and cause/effect worksheets was due on Friday.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students took that the 50 words test today. Afterwards, they worked on a text-evidence worksheet. The Text-Dependent Analysis is due today. The 50 words test is on Friday. AR is due on May 12th. 

Geography:    Today students should have finished up their political and physical map of Asia.  It is due today at 4:00.  It's homework if they did not get it finished.  They should have checked out a textbook with me.  Ask your student if they finished it up!
