Math: Students took the Formative Assessment over Chapter 7. We then took an Oral Mult Fact Quiz and began getting ready for the Student Lead Parent Teacher conferences.

Geography: Iditarod race information article and class discussion about the tundra climate. No homework.
English: Descriptive Writing. Today, we are writing rough drafts. The kids have the entire period to write their rough draft like they will next week for the writing assessment. If they don't finish, it needs to be completed for tomorrow!

Math: Students went over the FA 3D and talked about the Orleans Hanna test. Grades were also posted. We then looked at some videos that emphasize the importance of practice and paying attention to details. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lesson 4-3. We then covered 4-4. Complete the homework for Monday. If time allowed we looked at some videos that emphasize the importance of practice and paying attention to details.
Geography: Canada Physical and Political Map work. We will have a little bit of time on Monday. No homework.
English: Read Tuck Everlasting. Final Quiz over Tuck Everlasting. On Monday, we will take the final test. Parent permission forms for the movie that we will watch on Tuesday and Wednesday are due on Monday by 4:00. If the student does not have a signed form, they cannot watch the movie. Study guides are also due on Monday.

Math: Students took an oral mult fact quiz,went over current grades and worked on week 3 countdown to testing problems. No homework. We will take the 3D Formative Assessment on Thursday over appliation of decimals (story problems that involve decimals).
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the assessment from Friday and covered lesson 4-1. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Geography: Our final day of Hungry Planet. The student picked a country of their choice to compare to the 12 we studied in the HP unit. No homework. We will be moving on to Canada next.
