Math:   Students went over the estimation of decimals and then practiced adding and subtracting decimals.   Complete the homework from lesson 3-2. We will have a formative assessment over decimals on Friday.

Pre-Algebra:  Students continued working in chapter 11.  Students had a review worksheet, due tomorrow.  We will take the Formative Assessment over chapter 11 on Friday.

Geography:  Hungry Planet Unit-Continue families/notes.   The students were given a "Ticket-In" sheet as homework.  They will have to talk to whomever does the grocery shopping and get a list of food for a week and compare it to a family from Hungry Planet.

English: Read Tuck Everlasting. Complete ch. 9-10 and the study guide questions. You need to keep up on your study guide. It will be graded every Friday for completion. There is a quiz on Friday, also. Vocabulary sheet is due on Thursday at the beginning of class.
  
Science:  Students took notes over the circulatory system. A textbook assignment over "Your Body's Defenses" (p. 640-647) is due Friday.  Use your science notebook and for each sub-section: (1) I already knew.....  (2) I didn't know......  (3) Ask a question......  There are 10 sub-sections to complete.

Pre-Algebra:  Students continued working in chapter 11.  Complete problems 10 - 22, 27 - 30 from lesson 11-4.

Geography:  Hungry Planet Unit-Continue families/notes.   No homework.

English: Read Tuck Everlasting. Complete ch. 7-8 and the study guide questions. You need to keep up on your study guide. It will be graded every Friday for completion. There is a quiz on Friday, also. Vocabulary sheet is due on Thursday at the beginning of class.
  
Science:  Students finished completing their frog dissection packet in class. A textbook assignment over "Your Body's Defenses" (p. 640-647) is due Friday.  Use your science notebook and for each sub-section: (1) I already knew.....  (2) I didn't know......  (3) Ask a question......  There are 10 sub-sections to complete.

Math:   Students took a multiplication fact quiz, went over some story problem from the Countdown to Testing.  Students then reviewed how to add and subtract fractions and are to complete problems 5 - 13 on page 198.

English: Writing Bingo is due by 4:00 TODAY!! I will not accept it after tomorrow.

Geography:   Review South Africa vocabulary and took a quiz over vocab.  Compared and contrasted South Africa Apartheid and 1960's America.  Started Remember the Titans today.  Permission slips to watch Remember the Titans are due Monday, Dec 17th.  No homework.

English: Writing Bingo. Due Tuesday at the end of class. The students need to pick five horizontal squares to complete in class. If class time is not used wisely, they will be deducted points.

English: "An American Childhood." Review for the test tomorrow. Make sure that your packet is completed. It is due at the beginning of the class on Friday!!
  
Science:  Students filled out a study guide for tomorrow's quiz over disease and the immune system.  We also talked about the disease research project that will begin tomorrow.  Study!

Pre-Algebra:  Students continued reviewing 3-5 and reviewed packet for tomorrow.  We will have a chapter test tomorrow.

Geography:   Starting Material World- Bhutan, Cuba, Mali, Kuwait. Will go over tests next week.

English: Sentence Structure Unit. Review day. TEST TOMORROW!
