Students received their results from the spelling quiz last Friday. They were also given the Week 2 Vocab Activities. They will be due this Friday and we will have a spelling quiz over those words then. Complete the problems from lesson 12-1 for tomorrow.

Students have many ways that they can complete this activity: using computers (comic life-an application that is JUST HERE AT SCHOOL, powerpoint), paper book, drawing it, printing it off at home. Math: Students were introduced to math related vocabulary activities. They were given a sheet describing the activities they are to complete. Those activities will be due Friday and we will take a spelling quiz Friday over those words. We also went over the integers quiz they took Friday. We then started completing problems 1 - 21 on page 102. Whatever was not completed in class need to be finished at home. We are taking a Formative Assessment over lessons 2-1 - 2-4 on Wednesday.

The last day of PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are on the 27th. Hope to see you there! Have a great 4 day weekend.
Math: Students took a multiplication fact quiz and graded 2-1 homework. We started section 2-2 dealing with pawzies vs. neggies. No Homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students took the Formative Assessment over Chapter 1. No Homework.
Geography: MapQuest activity. I gave the students a few min to work in the lab to wrap up the assignment. CNN student news-current events. Homework: IF MapQuest activity isn't finished it becomes homework.
English: "The Third Wish"test. No homework.
Science: The Chapter 3 crossword puzzle was due today. Students who failed to turn the crossword in on time were given a science textbook to take home over the weekend so they could finish this assignment. We went over the study guide so students can study for next Tuesday's test.

Science: The Chapter 3 crossword puzzle was due today. Students who failed to turn the crossword in on time were given a science textbook to take home over the weekend so they could finish this assignment. We went over the study guide so students can study for next Tuesday's test.

Pre-Algebra: Students worked in pairs to complete a Chapter 1 test review. Test Tomorrow!! Study, Study Study!!!
Geography: MapQuest activity continued in the computer lab. No homework.
English: "The Third Wish" review sheet. Reading guide due today. "The Third Wish" test is TOMORROW! Also, students are ALWAYS allowed to take their textbooks home if needed to complete an assignment.
Science: Students communicated their lab results with their class from the osmosis lab. The Chapter 3 crossword puzzle is due tomorrow. Students were allowed to check-out a science textbook after school. Students also received a study guide for next Tuesday's test.
