Science: Thursday's class was in the media center. We worked with brain activities on the computer.

Math: Students went over the packet and students worked on the 8-3 section. Have everything up to Lesson 8-4 done by Tuesday.

Pre-Algebra: Students went over lessons 7-1 and 7-2. We covered 7-3. Ask your student if he or she had homework.

English: Finish reading chapter 3 of The Outsiders- due Tuesday

Geography: Chapter 8 Brazil and its neighbors. Chapter 8 Sec 2 Notes Quiz, South American Map Quiz, and Sec 1 and 2 Review question (bonus points opportunity) Homework: Chp 8 sec 1 and 2 review quesions.

Math: Students graded the AYR problems and then worked on the 8-1 and 8-2 sections. Have both sets of homework done for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra: Students graded the AYR problems and covered lesson 7-1 and 7-2. Have the homework done for tomorrow.

Math: Students graded 5-4, went over questions over the bonus worksheets dealing with proportions, then took a quick quiz over proportions. Complete the problems on page 292, 1 - 16 for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra: Students graded 6-4 and received a worksheet to complete for tomorrow.

English: Practice formative assessment over "Seventh Grade". Study vocab notecards! Test is next week! We read "Revolt of the Evil Fairies" in class to prepare for the NESA-R practice test tomorrow. Students will answer questions about the story and fill in a story chart.

Math: Students were to complete the following problems: Page 270: 1- 10 (show some work for each), Page 273: 1 – 8, 13 – 16, 23 – 31 and 34 and Page 278: 1 – 4, 9 – 16, 21 – 24. All can be done on one paper. The students had the entire period to work on these and all will be due Tuesday.

Pre-Algebra: Students were to complete the following problems: Page 273: 1 – 14, Page 279: 1- 22. All can be done on one paper. The students had the entire period to work on these and all will be due Tuesday.
