Math:  Students took the Integer quiz.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:  Students went over 1-9 and then jumped into lesson 1-10.  Complete 3 - 11, 13, 14 & 17.

Science:  Students watched a video "What Plants Talk About" and filled out a google form with questions over the video. Students received an ecology study guide.  The test over ecology will be given Wednesday, September 27th. Study your flashcards!

English: Students learned about visible and mental verbs. They received a short worksheet. Several students got it done in class. It's due tomorrow. Students also received a TDA take-home quiz yesterday. TDA take-home quizzes are due tomorrow. Etiquette emails are due on Friday. AR is due on October 18th.

Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz and then finished the integer operations worksheet.  Kids then had time to play an integer game on their computers.  Students will take the Integer quiz again tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:  Students went over 1-8 and then jumped into lesson 1-9.  Complete 3 - 15, 19, 21

Science:  Students learned about symbiosis by watching a video, taking notes, and completing an activity to see which group could make the most correct symbiotic matches in 10 minutes. The test over ecology will be given Wednesday, September 27th. Study your flashcards!

Math:  Students got their Birth Announcements back and then practiced operations with integers.  You need to have the adding, subtracting and multiplying done for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:  Students got their Birth Announcements back and then jumped into lesson 1-8.  Complete 3-6, 8-12, 15, 16.

Science:  Students applied their knowledge of ecology terms: abiotic, biotic, food chain, and food web. They completed 3 worksheets in class that will be placed in their science notebook. Study your flashcards. If needed, finish making them using the Ecology Vocab Google Slides on Google Classroom. Study!

Math:  Students took another multiplication fact quiz and graded it.  We then went over 1-6 and 1-8.  For review, kids should complete the problems from the following sections on pages 74-77:  1-1, 1-3, 1-4, 1-6 and 1-8    The test over integers will be this Friday.

Pre-Algebra:  Students went over the mid topic review and then went over 1-6.  Complete the homework 3-6 and 8-18 for tomorrow.  We will have a quiz Friday over 1-6 and 1-7.

Science:  Students completed their lab report which focused on this question: "Will yeast produce more CO2 if given syrup?"  If your lab report is complete, make sure you selected the "turn in" button.  If your lab report is not complete, you need to finish it as homework.

Science:  Students observed their 72-hour bacteria lab results, added the data to their lab report, and completed their conclusion paragraph.  If the lab report is not finished it needs to be done by the end of the weekend.  Select the "turn in" button when finished.

Science:  Students listened to a few "All About Me" presentations. Students recorded 6 facts about kingdom Archaea in their science notebook. We then talked about tomorrow's lab about bacteria.

Pre-Algebra:  Students used their investigative skills and discussed famous/important people.  Students then received their workbooks.

Science:  Students listened to a few "All About Me" presentations. Make sure your "All About Me" is finished. We went over the pretest about ecology that was taken yesterday. Students also learned about the 6 kingdoms of life.   

English: Students learned about memoirs and will create a 6 word memoir. 6 word memoirs are due on Tuesday, but they do have Thursday and Friday to work on it. The "All About Me" worksheet, the expectations contract, and the movie parent permission form is due on Friday, August 25th. Students need to have a composition notebook by Wednesday, August 23rd.

English: Today we learned more about Mrs. Davidson and played a get to know you game. Students received an "All About Me" worksheet. The worksheet, the expectations contract, and the movie parent permission form is due on Friday, August 25th. Students need to have a composition notebook by Wednesday, August 23rd.
