Math:   Students took a multiplication fact quiz and graded it.  Mr. Sanny then showed kids how to figure out how many days and seconds old they are.   Continue gathering information.  The project will be due Friday August 9th.

English:   Students worked on their 6 Word Memoir today, and memoirs are due on Friday. Students are required to number their pages in their composition notebook. Students also have a contract and movie parent permission form that is due September 2nd.

Math:  Students reviewed their previous MAP scores, went over a few more problems from THE BIG MATH and then had time to work on their Famous Mathematician research project.  Be working on it when you can.  It is due Monday at the beginning of class Monday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the FA 8A.    We then when over THE BIG MATH and then discussed the Famous Mathematician.  No homework.

Science:  Students learned about our Species Research Project.  Students will be given 3 class periods to work on this project.  Presentations will begin Wednesday May 11th.  If you haven't turned in your Adaptations Lab and Graph - you should finish this on your own time or after MAP testing (study hall).

English:    Checked vocabulary papers and kept them for review for test Monday.   Took quiz over Chapters 10-12.  Final projects are due on May 9th, the same day as the final on The Outsiders. AR is due May 12.

Science:  Students learned some examples of symbiosis by participating in a matching activity.  We also watched a few videos to better understand the three types of symbiosis. No homework.

English:  Students read Ch. 10 in class and received a new vocabulary paper that is due on Thursday/Friday. Final projects are due on May 9th and there will be a final test. AR is due May 12.

Math:  Kids took the FA 8B as  well as filled out a Quadrilateral Flow Chart that was graded as a test.  Kids then had time to work on the next packet.  Have 8-9 done for tomorrow.  The FA over 8-9 - 8-11 will be Thursday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over 8-6, and then jumped into Lesson 8-7.  Students may have homework.    See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned about carrying capacity.  No homework.

English:  Today we took a quiz over Ch. 5-6 and had a lit circle. Parent permission forms are due today. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

Math:  We went over 8-8.  Students then had time to work on the rest of the 8-4 - 8-8 packet, and then received another packet of problems to practice for the Assessment which is Monday.  Students will also need to know the Quadrilateral Flow Chart.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the packet, and then jumped into Lesson 8-6.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students finished constructing an aquatic, marine, alpine, and arboreal food chain.  Students then participated in a cougar hunt activity.  No homework.

English:  Today we took a quiz over Ch. 5-6 and had a lit circle. Parent permission forms are due today. Students' first Outsiders project is due April 26th. AR is due May 12.

Science:  Students learned about the terms 'biotic' and 'abiotic'.  We also began learning about food chains.  No homework.
