Math:  Students did a quick review and then took the chapter 6 FA.  Don't forget, on Friday, the vocab activities will be due at the beginning of class and then we will take a spelling quiz over the words.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over 7-4 and then jumped into 7-6 and 7-7.  Ask your student if they had homework.   Don't forget, on Friday, the vocab activities will be due at the beginning of class and then we will take a spelling quiz over the words.

Science:  Students learned the meaning of some ecology vocabulary and took notes in their science notebook.  Test next Friday - a study guide will be handed out this Friday.

English:  Students read Ch. 4 in The Outsiders. Students can work on vocabulary. Their blue paper is due on Friday. There is a quiz over Ch. 3 & 4 and vocabulary on Friday. Please study!

Geography:  Students reviewed for the Asia test today!  Asia test will be April 10th-Friday.  Students should be studying their note!!!

Math:  Students went over lesson 6-5 and are to complete the homework for tomorrow.  We will take the chapter 6 FA on Thursday.  On Friday, the vocab activities will be due at the beginning of class and then we will take a spelling quiz over the words.

Math:  Students took a Grande Soft Taco and graded lesson 6-5.  Students then received a worksheet to review for tomorrow's assessment.  We will take the chapter 6 FA tomorrow.  On Friday, the vocab activities will be due at the beginning of class and then we will take a spelling quiz over the words.

Science:  Students learned about the 6 Kingdoms (Archaebacteria, Eubacteria, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, Animalia) and made some study cards.  Test next Friday - a study guide will be handed out this Friday.

Math:  Students went over lesson 5-4, did a quick review and then took the Chapter 5 Formative Assessment.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students had class.  No homework.

Science: Students took the quiz over bones and muscles and their locations.  No homework.

English:  Students turned in their 6 Word Memoirs. We wrote a response to "Your Phone Could Ruin Your Life" in their composition notebooks. If they didn't get done, then they need to finish for when we get back from spring break. Please read your AR book!

Honors English: Students worked on their word cards for WordMasters. These are due when they get back from spring break.

Geography:  Students had an opportunity for 8 extra credit points today in class.  Homework:  Maps if they ARE NOT finished.  Have a GREAT spring break!

Science: Students reviewed for tomorrow's quiz.  Know 10 bones and 5 muscles and their locations for Friday's (tomorrow) quiz.

English:  Students read an article in Scholastic Scope called "Your Phone Could Ruin Your Life." Students have their 6 Word Memoir due tomorrow.

Honors English: Students received their WordMasters words. 6 Word Memoirs are due on Friday. Word Cards are due when we get back from spring break.

Geography:  Students had 10 minutes to work on maps and then we broke into groups for map reflection.  Maps are worth 50 points- due today.  Homework: Maps if they did not get finished.

Science: Students compared their reaction speed with three different stimuli (visual, auditory, and tactile).  No homework.

English:  Today we read an article in Scholastic Scope called "Shattered Lives". Students are working on their vocabulary in their composition notebooks. We'll have about 15 minutes tomorrow to finish that up. AR goals are due today by 4pm! I'm doing a composition notebook check on Monday. Students need to be caught up.

English:  Today we finished our search books for AAAWWUBBIS sentences. Students started their Invitation to Imitate. They have 20 minutes tomorrow to work on those sentences tomorrow. English:  Today we finished Tuck Everlasting and are comparing and contrasting the differences between the movie and book. The students started their restaurant menu. It is due on google classroom on Monday by 4pm. No homework tonight. We're working on it in class tomorrow. AR goals are due on March 4th!

Honors English: Today is our WordMasters test. Students turned in their take-home test and we started watching Tuck Everlasting. No homework!
