Science: Finished the DNA model and DNA model paper review.
Math: Students reviewed the material from lessons 2-6, 2-7 and 2-8 and then covered lesson 2-9. Complete the homework from the yellow paper for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded the 3-1 homework and went over lesson 3-2. Have the homework done tomorrow.
English: Intro and conclusion were due today. Peer check sheet activity in class. Tomorrow three T-charts are due on comparing and contrasting two topics of their choice.
Geography: Chapter 1 Study Day-Jeopardy. The game is on Moodle to use at home or students can come see me for a hardcopy of the game. Study all material from Chapter 1. Homework: study for Chapter 1 test. Test is Wednesday, Nov. 9th.

Math: Students reviewed the material from lessons 2-6, 2-7 and 2-8. Ask your student if he/she has homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the test and then started Chapter 3. Have the 3-1 homework done for tomorrow.

Science: Took a review quiz on Moodle, this is a great way to study for tomorrow's test. Tuesday-Test over how cells get energy.
Math: Students were able to fix mistakes on the TIZ from Friday. We then went over lesson 12-1. No homework.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on problems 1 - 14 on page 106 in class. No homework.
English: Halloween grammar activity. Learned compare/contrast graphic organizer. Assignment: One comp/cont. paragraph due tomorrow. Study for vocab quiz on Wednesday!
Geography: We went outside and completed a GPS activity using waypoints. Students had to solve a problem from clues that they found outside. No homework. Have a safe Halloween!

Math: Students took a practice vocab quiz, the real one is Monday (also, turn in your Vocab Activities Monday). Students then watched two videos reviewing integers and then had time to work on their vocab activities.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over the Are You Ready problems and then started with lesson 2-1. Ask your student if he or she had homework.

Science: Received feedback on our plant experiments and current event summaries. Also continued learning about photosynthesis.
Math: Students were introduced to the Vocab Activities that will be due Monday, Oct 18. We will also take a spelling quiz over those words that day. We then went over 2-2 and looked at how to do lesson 2-3. Complete the homework from that lesson for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students looked at the Vocab Activities. They are due next Monday as well as a spelling quiz then. We continued working on the 1-8 - 1-10 review.

Math: Students took a mult fact quiz, got back their BA Projects and were told what they can do if they want that grade to be better. The BA Redo will be due next Wednesday, Sept. 21. We then went over lesson 1-7 and started discussing the material in lesson 1-8. Students had the opportunity to look at their current grade in math. No homework.

Science: Go over "Conclusions" from lab yesterday. Complete food labels activity. No homework over the break.
Geography: Chapter 9-Andean Countries- Ch 9 sec 3 Read and Review Questions. Homework: Chapter 9 Study Packet and any late or missing work.
English: The Outsiders. Homework: Read chapters 5 and 6 for Tuesday. Complete the reading guide and vocabulary worksheets over the reading. Be prepared for a quiz over chapters 5 and 6 on Tuesday. AR goals are due Friday, May 13th.

A BIG "SORRY!" GOES OUT TO 7-4 MEMBERS WHO CHECK OUR BLOG. LAST FRIDAY, KPS WAS TRYING OUT A NEW FILTER AND OUR BLOG WAS BLOCKED, THUS WE COULD NOT UPDATE IT.
Math: Students went over lessons 8-7 & 8-8. Complete the practice for tomorrow. We will have a quiz over lessons 8-5 - 8-8 tomorrow (Tuesday) and a QUEST over lessons 8-1 - 8-8 on Thursday.

Science: Complete antacid experiment from Friday. Begin Healthy Cells article.

Math: Students received a grade sheet in which they need to get a parent signature and return it by Wednesday. We then discussed "Pi Day" and student were given a NeSA packet. Complete the first 7 problems for tomorrow. We then reviewed lesson 5-1. Have problems 1 - 12 completed for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students celebrated Pi day by looking at the formulas involved. Students then received the NeSA packet and started working on it. Complete what Mr. SAnny said by tomorrow.

Math: Students received a grade sheet in which they need to get a parent signature and return it by Wednesday. We then discussed "Pi Day" and student were given a NeSA packet. Complete the first 7 problems for tomorrow. We then reviewed lesson 5-1. Have problems 1 - 12 completed for tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students celebrated Pi day by looking at the formulas involved. Students then received the NeSA packet and started working on it. Complete what Mr. SAnny said by tomorrow.
