Math: Students went over the 6-6 homework and were assigned 1 - 10, 13 - 25, 32 -40 and 45 - 56 for homework from lesson 6-7.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over their homework, went over lesson 6-7. For homework, 7 - 30, you must show your work on 7 - 20, for 21 - 30, you may do in your head and just write the answer.
Science: Diseases and health habits of the respiratory system.
English: Ne-SA Reading review in class. No homework.
Geography: Chapter 9 Sec 3, read, and questions for review! Vocabulary chp 9 (yellow sheet), sec 2 questions, and section 3 questions are all due Thursday in class. Open book, open note test on Friday over all of Chapter 9.

Math: Students went over the Customary Measurement Quiz. Looked at a few story problems and assingned problems 2, 5 - 8, 12 - 14 on page 228 and 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 on page 229.
Pre-Algebra: We looked at a variety of story problems and were assigned the following problems: page 258: 36 - 39, 52, page 272: 34, 35, page 273: 57, 58, 60, 61
Science: Reviewed what we learned last week about healthful behaviors and what influences these behaviors. Started to learn risk factors that our patient, Joe, has-which we can modify and ones we can't modify.
English: Presented Tuck Everlasting final exams in class. Homework: Read AR book.
Geography: Quiz over Pol/Phy Map and Vocab Sec1-2 Quiz today, March 8th. No homework. We are starting Chapter 8-Brazil tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra: Students utilized the Dimensional Analysis method for converting measurements and had a worksheet to complete for tomorrow. The Converting Measurements Quiz will be tomorrow.
Science: Took our circulatory system quiz.
English: Tuck Everlasting in class. Homework: Vocabulary for chapters 16-21 due tomorrow. AR goals due next Thursday.
Geography: Today we studied by playing a Jeopardy game over Chapter 6; handed out a study guide. Jeopardy games are on Moodle along with a copy of the study guide. Homework is to study for test. If students did not get the worksheet packets done in class from Monday and Tuesday they can turn them in by Friday for full credit!

Math: Students graded Lesson 4-7 and the PSP. We then discussed how to add and subtract fractions. Students were assigned problems from lesson 5-2.
Pre-Algebra: Students went over lesson 5-1 and assigned the homework from that lesson.
Science: Worked on the UNK research project,need to turn in the activity monitor. Continued the frog dissection. Science current event summaries are due Wednesday, and make sure you get your Animal Adaptation project finished. Wednesday's class is in 113.
English: Reviewed for state writing assessment on Thursday and Friday. Homework: None.
Geography: Chapter 6-Mexico! Physical and Political Map work. Re-takes for students who received below a 69% is being offered. Land for Sale Activity due by Feb 3rd. Homework: Finish Land For Sale Activity if they are not finished and take home Map if they aren't finished.

Math: Students worked on the Lesson 4-7 problems 1 - 13 and PSP problems 1- 10. They are due tomorrow. Students were also reminded that today is the last day to turn in any 0s or 1s that were recorded and also that the week 4 spelling quiz will be Friday.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on the Skills U Need for Chapter 5. A Chapter 4 Retake test will be offered Tuesday and Wednesday after school. Students were also reminded that today is the last day to turn in any 0s or 1s that were recorded and also that the week 4 spelling quiz will be Friday.

Science: Went over the external animal observations. Were introduced to our next product, "Animal Adaptations." Science is in computer lab 114 on Thursday.

Science: Viewed 2 videos, and did a flu immunity activity.
English: We looked over Expository papers in class. Students do have the opportunity to make corrections to raise their grades. Homework: Four completed boxes from the Think Dots are due Monday. Punctuation quiz on Monday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: Group work today comparing and contrasting countries that we have studied so far. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week!

Pre-Algebra: Students took a GST mult fact quiz and graded yesterday's worksheet. We then reviewed how to multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers.

English: Punctuation Featured Films on how to use the apostrophe and commas. Homework: WRITE #5 due Friday and Spelling Test #3 on Friday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: Group work today comparing and contrasting countries that we have studied so far. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week!

Math: Students discussed the online quizzes - take them by Friday We then discussed lesson 3-9 which the material will be on the quiz Friday, but no homework tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students worked on review problems preparing for the Chapter 3 Test which is Friday.
Science: Observed our bacteria experiments. Went over the epidemic simulation. Family health history is due on Friday.
English: Researched for disease reports. Homework: Spelling Test on Friday and WRITE #3 due Friday.
Geography: Climate poster activity. Climate posters are due Friday by 4:00pm. Re-takes on Chapter 1 test (below 70%) can be retaken until Thursday. Vocabulary for Chp 2 is due Thursday. Homework this week is to finish vocab for sec 2.

Math: Students took a GST Mult Fact Quiz, graded 3-7 and were given a worksheet to practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers. It is due tomorrow.
Pre-Algebra: Students looked at 3-6. We then covered 3-8. Have it completed for tomorrow.

Sorry about not sending out a blog last Thursday. Mr. Sanny was gone and his computer was not cooperating with the other teachers.
Math: Students learned the Chapter 3 Test will be this Friday, the Million Calorie Food Drive starts next week, a new Online Quiz has been added and students will be paid San Man Dollars if they take them by Friday and Mr. Sanny asked students to bring in store ads for a project that starts in December. We then went over lesson 3-7 and assigned the homework from that lesson.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lessons 3-4 and 3-5 and covered 3-6. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Science: Set up the bacteria experiments. Have your disease picked for your report that you will do the research on during your Englis class. Family tree homework-due November 13th.
English: Began Expository paper. Homework: Complete KW of KWL for tomorrow. Spelling Test on Friday and WRITE #3 due Friday.

Pre-Algebra: Students worked on lesson 3-4 and 3-5. No homework.
Science: Received family tree homework-due November 13th.
English: Sentence fluency in class. Homework: Take home test due tomorrow at the beginning of class. WRITE #2 due tomorrow.
Geography: Today in class we went over the Desalination WS and started on Chap 2 Sec 2 vocab and a reading strategy worksheet. Students will have homework tonight over Section 2!

English: Reviewed Sentence Structure in class. Homework: Finish the circled problems on the study guide for tomorrow. WRITE #2 due Thursday.
Geography: Chapter 2 Sec 1 Read, Vocab, and a Reading Strategy WS. No homework.
