Math:   Students took a multiplication fact quiz, learned of the routine and expectations involved with those.  We then went over the homework from lesson 1.  The Birth Announcement Project is due Thursday, August 27th at the beginning of class.  Start collecting information about your birth.  No homework from the book.

Science:  Geology on Mars 1.3 worked on today.  We introduced new vocabulary with claim, evidence, and reasoning.  Please keep your interactive notebook update.    We also did the activity on GCR 1.3   Please get on and do that using your digital notebook pictures along with the GCR document. Submit when finished.

Geography:  Today we had 10 minutes to finish working on the Continent and Ocean map- due Friday for 25 points. We also spent time reviewing for the upcoming test. Continent and Ocean Test is Wednesday. Check out Google Classroom/Canvas for any missed work or assignments!

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
