Math:   Students went over the homework from lesson 7 and then had time to complete the 7th grade IXLs to a score of a 80:  C10 and C12.  Kids then played a card game practicing Integer Addition.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Lesson 9.  For homework, complete problems 1 - 5 on page 115.  The assessment over lessons 5 - 9 will be Monday.

Science:  We put together crystals and slime today in class.  We will look at them on Monday.

English:  Students learned about compound sentences. There's a short assignment on google classroom called, Sentence Structure HW 2. 

7th Period English:  Students learned about commas. There's a short assignment on google classroom called, Commas HW 1. "H" is due Friday.

Geography:  Students discussed yesterday's test and took a pre-test for the next unit. Click this link to see the assignment calendar!

Math:   Students went over lesson 7.  Complete problems 1 - 6 on page 87 and then complete the 7th grade IXLs to a score of a 80:  C6 and C9.  The IXLs are due at 8 am tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Lesson 8.  For homework, do the Adding and Subtracting Paper Worksheet.  The assessment over lessons 5 - 9 will be Monday.

Science:  Rock Transformations.  We finished 2.2 today and 2.2.   Digital slides to complete in your Chapter 2 D.N. through slide 18. today.  Weathering and erosion activity done with our jolly ranchers. Check Infinite Campus for work not completed.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Lesson 7.  For homework, do problems 1 - 6 on page 87 and the 7th grade IXLs: C6, C9, C10 and C12 to a score of 80 by 8 am tomorrow.

Math:   Students took an 11 mult fact quiz and then looked at how Pawzies vs Neggies can help with subtraction.  We looked at problems from Lesson 5 and kids are to complete the Subtracting Integers Worksheet.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Lesson 6.  For homework, complete the Wizer worksheet found in Google Classroom.

Science:  Rock Transformations.  We started 2.1 today. Digital slides to complete in your Chapter 2  D.N. Get it from Google Classroom. Your first D.N. should be turned in to me.  Complete through slide 7 in your D.N. today. Check Infinite Campus for work not completed.

Math:   Students did a quick review and then took the assessment over Adding Positives and Negatives.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over how to subtract integers and applied that to Lesson 5.  For homework, complete the paper worksheet for tomorrow .

Science:  Rock Transformations Unit. 1.5 done todayl. We set up a model for rock formation in our D.N. Complete through slide 17 in your notebook. Check Infinite Campus for work not completed.

English:  Students reviewed Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. Study guides are due tomorrow. There is a test tomorrow over plot and vocab.

Geography:  Today we worked on an introduction to culture by answering some "What if.." questions. Population Density assignment is due on today, October 26th. Math:   Students went over how add integers using the Pawzies vs Neggies story.  For practice, do 7th Grade IXLs to a score of 80:  C1 and C4 as well as the Adding Wizer Worksheet found in Google Classroom.  Those are due tomorrow at the beginning of class. The Assessment over Module 2, Topic A Adding (L1 - L4) is MONDAY. Students received a list of Module 1 vocabulary words and a Word Search involving those words.  The word search is due Friday.  We will also take a spelling quiz over those words on Friday.

Math:   Students learned the trick to multiply any two digit number by 11 and took a practice quiz.  We then went over various math problems involved in a recent trip Mr. Sanny took to Des Moines.  Students received a list of Module 1 vocabulary words and a Word Search involving those words.  The word search is due Friday.  We will also take a spelling quiz over those words on Friday.

Math:   Students went over lesson 19.  Complete problems 1, 4 and 5 for practice on pages 205 and 206.  The assessment over Lessons 16 - 19 will be Wednesday, October 14th.

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished Lesson 20.  The assessment over Lessons 16 - 19 will be Wednesday, October 14th.

Science: We worked on finishing the Reasoning Tool found in Google Classroom there 3.4 Scientific Argument assignment.  Writing your Scientific Arguments was started and  will be due on Wednesday.   We used Kahoot to review for the test on Plate Motion which will be tomorrow.

English:  Students had a refresher over prepositions and adverbs. Students have an assignment on google classroom called Prepositions HW 2. 

7th Period English:  Students reviewed their study guides. Test is tomorrow. Please study! "F" is due on Friday.

Geography:  Today reviewed for the test. Students had time to finish up their study guide and Climate Zone map. The map is due Wednesday before the test. Math:   Students took a mult fact quiz and went over lesson 18 and some of the homework in class. Complete problems 1 - 6 on pages 189 and 190 for tomorrow.  The assessment over Lessons 16 - 19 will be Wednesday, October 14th.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took a mult fact quiz and worked on Lesson 20.  The assessment over Lessons 16 - 19 will be Wednesday, October 14th.

Science: We completed 3.3 and worked on 3.4  D.N. slides 19-20 need to be filled in.  On Google Classroom there is a 3.4 Scientific Argument assignment.  We started working on that.  Arguments will be due on Wednesday.  Video available on Canvas.

English:  Students took notes over prepositional phrase. No homework!

7th Period English:  Students reviewed adverbs and prepositions. They have a study guide that is due tomorrow. "F" is due on Friday.

Geography:  Today we took notes over Climate Zones. We also completed their climate zone map! The map is due Wednesday before the test. A study guide was handed out 10/8. The test over Landforms, Water Resources, and Climate will be October 14th! Click this link to see the assignment calendar!

Math:   Students went over lesson 17 and did the homework in class. No homework.  Our next assessment will next Wednesday, October 14.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished up lesson 19 and potentially moved into Lesson 20.  The assessment over Lessons 16 - 20 will be Tuesday, October 13th.

Science: We completed 3.2  D.N. slides 17-20 need to be filled in.  We reviewed what Wegner's ideas were from the reading yesterday and worked with the idea of Pangea.  Video available on Canvas.

English:  Students learned about adverbs and took notes in their digital notebook. There is a short assignment called Adverbs Homework 1 on google classroom.

Math:   Finished lesson 16. Homework is from the Lesson 16 problem set beginning on pg. 165. Do problems #1-5.

Pre-Algebra:   Began lesson 19. Assigned problems number 2 and 3 on pg. 205.

Science: We completed 3.2  D.N. slides 11-17  for Chapter 3 using the reading on Wegner.  It is all in the D.N and needs to be completed.  Video available on Canvas.

Math:   Went over the test on Topic C. Started lesson 16 on scale factor. No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over Lesson 18. They have IXL's for homework. They need a score of 85 on J6 and a 100 on J9.

Science: We completed 3.1 using the Sim in Amplify and got started on 3.2  D.N. slides 6-10 need to be completed for Chapter 3. Video available on Canvas.

Math:   Students took the Topic C assessment.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students finished up lesson 16 and moved into lesson 17. For homework complete #4 and #5 on pages 166 and 167.  Also complete 1-4 on page 177. 

Science: D.N. 2 PM should be turned in.  We completed 2.7 on Amplify doing the homework part 3.  Do not do part 4.  We started 3.1 today working with the simulation.
